1,000 Yard Receiver Watch

^ agreed

Just wished they had a steady third option to help out.  Plus a 4th would be nice. Would make a world of difference in this offense to hum as it should

Just to add to this discussion:

Stanley Morgan Jr needs to average 89 yards per game for the rest of the season to get to 1,000.

Needs to average 78 per game for the rest of the season to be All Time receiving yards leader.

Spielman needs to average 77 yards per game for the season to get to 1,000.

He's only 12 yards shy of knocking Matt Davison out of the top 10 all time receiving yards.

He needs 27 receptions to be #1 single season reception leader
Spielman is now in the top 10 in all time receiving yards and career receptions.

He needs to average 78.5 yards per game for the rest of the season to get to 1,000 on the year.

He needs 22 receptions more to get to the all time season record of 75.

Morgan needs to average 90.5 yards per game for the rest of the season to get to 1,000 on the year.

He needs to average 77 yards per game to become the all time receiving yards leader.

He is 5 TD’s shy and 18 receptions away from tying for #1 all time in those 2 receiving categories

Frost needs a couple years to recruit the skill players to the depth he wants. They basically said as much during the game yesterday.

I can't decide if these are tall orders or easily within reach.  I hope they both exceed 1000 yards - from having none ever, to two in the same year, would be "sick".

To be honest, they only thing in the way of these guys reaching those numbers and Devine getting his 1K is you know what...

Morgan needs to average about 92 yards a game for the next 3 to not only get to 1,000 but to also become the all time career receiving yards leader.  He’s also 20ish receptions shy of the single season record.

Spielman needs to average about 84 yards to get to 1,000 and 16 receptions to get the single season record.

It'd be great if both could reach the 1000 yard mark.  The first time in NU history a receiver has achieved that.  I'm biased, as Stan is a senior, but it'd be great to get him to that mark considering what he's done for the program and the limited "success" as a team we have had during his time here.  Definitely wouldn't mind JD getting to the mark either,  He too, has worked his butt off.  I am pretty sure he will have the mark next year if not this year.

It will be close for both of them. A big game next week could help out alot
