I know we generally give him a pass because he's generally a bumbling idiot who isn't very concerned with reality, but this type of language is incredibly damaging to the tone and civility of our politics.

It's not treason to hold the president accountable. He's not above the law. It doesn't matter how much he wishes he was.

Did he just admit that he did obstruct the investigation?

This paragraph from the article is pure opinion from my point of view, since it is impossible for a sitting POTUS any POTUS even Obama to commit obstruction.  He is the ultimate authority and can stop any investigation.  Also if Mueller couldn't reach a conclusion, it's not to say that obstruction could be done by a POTUS.  Mueller did that specifically to allow the left some bait to say there might be obstruction.  We will soon see the report and that little tidbit will go up in smoke too! That paragraph is junk, other than that the article was fine.  Mueller must have been just fine with what Barr reported in those four pages, or he would have been in the press complaining by now and there isn't an MSM outlet that wouldn't report it.  Just more dreaming! And yet, nothing done by DHS (that we know of). No plan we've heard from other intelligence agencies. As of now the only ones who will admit this are the serious intel leaders like Haspel or Coats. No mention from Barr. Trump still calls the entire thing a hoax.

Which is entirely fair to surmise means he wants their help again next year.

Link me to the posts where you objected to POTUS being called a traitor, nationalist, white nationalist, criminal, Russian agent, sociopath, fat, Obama, retarded, etc etc.  Bonus if you can square how graphic liberal assassination porn fits into a tone of civility in politics.

He's objectively several of those things. Are you snowflaking on me now and trying to police thought because people were mean to Trump?

I don't pay much attention to liberal assassination porn, whatever that is. I do find joking about people getting killed is in poor taste - like that time Trump joked 2nd Amendment supporters should "do something" to his opponents.

Besides all of this, I'm a private citizen. There's a difference between me expressing any opinion on POTUS and POTUS suggesting intelligence agents are guilty of treason. Or any other the other vile, toxic stuff he's spewed. He's got a much bigger pulpit than mine here on Huskerboard's P&R.

Why can't the left and anti Trump just admit that they DON'T like the fact that Trump fights back and defends himself robustly.  Any conservative in the past always just shut their mouth and got b!^@h slap by the left time after, all while the radicals pushed their leftist agenda with the MSM complicit to max.  I'm so proud of POTUS Donald Trump for standing up for himself and the American Public the way he has.  If this bothers people, too bad.  He has done more to help the left define themselves to American Public than anyone ever has.  They now are all pushing full blown Socialism, which many Conservatives knew they have been for over 20 years when the Clinton's attempt to reform Health Care in 90's. There is no way President Trump is going to change, and I hope he never does.  By the way  Notre Dame Joe's comments were spot on! The only snow flaking is by the left and their poor feeling. I live for 8 years with the obi-nation of having OBAMA screw this country over. President it teaching conservatives how to fight using the same methods the left has use for generations.
