Our next QB

I found some great video of Blaine Gabbert from St. Louis ... this kid is a giant and there is more than 30 minutes of video from his last high school game (Parkway West) at http://www.hsgametime.com/stlouis/videopage.html?nvid=175399

Tons of video of him in action plus an interview.

Honestly, this kid is so big he looks like he is playing with the middle school team.

GO HUSKERS!!

ya he is a GIANT!! :nutz

Gabberts femur btw

Then hopefully he starts to show that in his games this fall, it sounds like he had been stinking up the place.

lawl @ the femur

Ye this kid sure stands out. We should not only have him play qb but play D on FG/punts he won't have to jump to block them. Just standt here and the ball would proably hit his chest or bounce off his helmet

Could you please elaborate on how he's been stinking up the place? I think we already have enough of that here now without bringing more wood in for the fire. How or what has he been doing to be considered stinking up the place?

He's just being honest. And he's right. There are a few post out there about it. Look for a topic on him on how he his doing his senior year. It's all there.

BTW - if history tells us anything, being a highly recruited player does not guarentee immediate playing time or success at the next level.

Yeah I try to tone down my excitement about this kid until he A) signs with NU and B) proves he can play at the D-1 level. Lets not forget about that Harrison Pecker...er I mean...Beck kid.
