NU to unveil $150 million football facility plan Friday

Suh paid for a lot of the current stuff in the weight & locker rooms, he can pay for updated graphics too. :P

Word is they've hit the donation number that they wanted, though it sounds like it's $80M so I'm not sure if they lowered it from the original $100M they wanted or they just wanted to get that much to get started and they'll still work on the rest.

Sounds like they are planning to break ground after track is over.  But they new track facilities haven't been bid out either so they'll need to get going on that.

I wonder how much more the project is going to cost with how material prices have increased.

That's a good question. Steel prices have basically doubled since December. I'm not sure what other materials have done but I hear people complaining about lumber prices. That price tag has to be going up significantly.

I think if moos was trying to drink devaney under the table we would know about it by now. Nearest I can tell is that was all a rumor. Not saying bill doesn't enjoy a cocktail but I don't think it was as extreme as people were led to believe.

Yeah I imagine this has to just be a shovel and ceremonial first dig.

It's disappointing to see that they cut back on the scale of the project. Nebraska needs to be the standard in facilities. Every advantage possible, is needed to get this thing back on track.
