I recall they cut back on a few things so maybe that’s part of the reason the cost overrun is less than may have been?

Don’t recall specifics but I do recall they trimmed back from the initial plans.  There were newspaper articles I believe that mentioned it.

Probably cut out restrooms and concessions and padded seating, etc., trying to stay with the ‘Husker motif’.  Lol

Floor drains and repurposed phone booths from Ma Bell work great. Easy clean with the next rain!  Cut out all that labor!

They are currently in storage, and will return at a later date. They are unlikely to be in the same general area, but they don't know where they're going to end up quite yet.

He praised Hausmann Construction, which is building the facility just east of Memorial Stadium, for its efforts in keeping the project on track.
