6-4 GC, but Huskers making some noise in top of 7.  Bases loaded with no outs on top of 7

 
We only scratch one across after loading the bases with no outs, but still right in it. 6-5 GC , headed to bottom of 7

 
GC gets that run back with a two out, walk, and triple when Silva dives for sinking line drive and it skips past.  7-5. GC

 
Huskers with a two out rally of their own by loading the bases, all with 2 outs, only to fail to score when GC third baseman makes great diving catch to end inning 

 
Don't like the sloppy play in that one. By the same token, GCU is a respectable program (well, other than their bizarre trash talking, so change respectable to capable of winning baseball games I guess). Going to need Caleb Clark to do something he hasn't done often enough: pitch well.

Husker  pitching was pretty solid first 2 games.  We got 2 so far.

4 game series you want to split, but hope for 3 w's.  

That's the goal. 

Against GC, Florida, LSU, Omaha, whoever.  It doesn't matter.  

It's very challenging to win 4 straight on the road in a 4 game series.  I think we will be ok.  One game left in the series.  They want it as badly as we do.  So we will see.....

 
We only allowed 4 runs, def seems to be an issue.  2 errors today, 2 yesterday, 2 in the loss to Oklahoma.  This needs to be cleaned up.
