Be real. Congress hasn't done squat in almost 2 decades. ObamaCare was barely passed with a super majority. Ever since 2 years into Obama's first term, it's been executive orders and lawsuits to stop them. I don't like it, but its reality. You need mavericks to pass anything except spending bills, because they let everyone get a chuck of money for there pets projects, and now we shouldn't spend any more. The border has been going downhill since the COVID policies expired and the Dems didn't care until it became an election problem.

One of the people familiar with the matter said Hunter Biden has been closely advising his father since the family gathered this past weekend at Camp David after Thursday’s debate. This person said Hunter Biden has “popped into” a couple of meetings and phone calls the president has had with some of his advisers.

Another person familiar with the matter said the reaction from some senior White House staff has been, “What the hell is happening?”

Good thing the Supreme Court just gave them more responsibilities and took it away from the experts.  Now they have even more responsibility that they can ignore.

Fair, politicians don't appoint the best and brightest anymore (if they ever truly did). And people clearly don't elect the best and brightest into political office.

Agreed.   But back to the point…..bureaurocrats still get to decide the finer points of laws passed.   They just don’t get to do it unchecked now.

Could drum up some intel (or screen actual visitors) claiming some of the most wanted terrorists were there, light it up and claim he’s immune….official duties etc.
