There's a gigantic difference between claiming someone could have done something and someone else actually doing that thing.The question is if he's a generational player because he's the only one that could do what he's doing, or if he's just the only one that is. I can think of at least a handful of players over the last 5 years that imo could be that kind of guy playing both ways but didn't because their coaches very clearly don't see it as a smart move.
Travis Hunter is the only player actually playing 2 ways and doing it at an extremely high level. I don't think it's been done in over half a century. Pretty fair to call him a generational player.
