Caleb and Bo will be fine. I will happily follow their progress throughout their rookie season. I know in both games the Bears played, the Center got destroyed from bull-rushes and messed up the pocket (can't step into the pocket when there is no where to go). He is responsible for 6 sacks. And some of us Bears fans really wanted a top tier center in the draft (there was several) but we kept the 9th pick and went with Odunze instead of trading the pick to get a starting Center down in the draft. Oh well.
I don't think it's fair to want instant success at QB - through 2 games. Have to be patient and see them learn while they play it out. Kind of stinks that the play calling is a lot of short routes so far. Expect that to expand more as the season goes.
The thing I really like about Caleb and Bo, is their football maturity, work ethic, preparation, and competitive nature. These guys are going to learn from mistakes, even if it's several mistakes, they will be better later in the season and definitely by next year. Year 2 and year 3 will be a lot better.
You got to be happy you have them, instead of not having them, and you need patience. They are too good to be disappointed in them through a couple games.
