Your 2024 Nebraska Cornhuskers

RVP is redshirting this year per Rhule. He played in the first two games. I'm sure they have a plan for his last two but I would love to see him in against Rutgers and Iowa. They will most likely be the two most run heavy teams we play. He would provide the most benefit there. He would also be able to play in the bowl game.

I tend to agree with this mindset in this day and age.  And it feels like this is truly what is happening.  It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out the rest of this year and into the future.

This is the nebraska way. The goal though is to get to the point where even our backups are balling on teams.

Wanted to comment on this because one of the first things Eisen talks about is Dylan looking and acting like Mahomes.  I also read an article this morning about Dylan getting hate on social media for doing Mahomes things.  Did Kobe Bryant get this much hate?  Go watch some videos.  Kobe, walks and chews gum just like Jordan.  Had the same style of shot and moves.  Are they the same person? NO.  But you can clearly tell who Kobe's idol was.  I find it slightly annoying but not enough as a grown man to go on social media and rip the kid.

It is a different world in 2024 versus 1996 when Kobe was an 18 year old starting out.  He 100% would be getting the same treatment today, until he proved himself.

I know the social media aspect is different but Kobe actually played in the NBA at the same time as Jordan and I don't remember much hate and Kobe was talked about a lot on Sport center/ESPN.  I know he got the normal up and comer talk of being the "next Jordan" but not necessarily saying he looks and plays like Jordan.  I guess the common man was just yelling hate at the TV since there was no X or Instagram
