It seems too easy to blame Right Wing media for Donald Trump's success. 

But maybe it's not. Are we ready for the possibility that the mainstream media is now the lesser force for disseminating information, and information-like products? The New Republic obviously wears its agenda on its sleeve, but there aren't many holes to this argument.

The case appears to have involved men who were in Hegseth's unit. Men he knew and cared about. Why wouldn't that be news as the already controversial Hegseth is being considered for the largest and most powerful cabinet position in the country? 

There was a time, years ago, when the Washington Post kept poking at a story involving minor players seemingly well-distanced from the President, but we generally celebrate the reporting that brought Richard Nixon down.

Ha!  Yeah, I have heard that one before.  Classic!

 
Well I guess it's begun. Within 24 hours of the inauguration I counted 33 sources on my Facebook feed that I had never seen before, taking turns celebrating Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Kid Rock, Dana White, Rosanne Barr, Mark Zuckerberg, Ben Shapiro and 7 different Facebook accounts honoring the legendary Carrie Underwood. There were other Facebook accounts that appeared to be average posters like me who somehow broke into the main feed by dunking on Harris voters, mocking trans people, or posing next to the Gulf of America. There was also a flood of previously unseen quasi-organizations like Entrepreneur Mindset, Quotes Journal, Legacy of Bravery, News Update Pro, Hollywood Insider, The Dateright Stuff, Any Time, Guyz Running From Cops, Phone Engineering and Gadget, Born in USA, and Davidoo sharing pro-Trump, anti-woke, and anti-media memes. Several had a nearly identical boldface subhead, string of emojis, and LOL! Any self-respecting algorithm would know I wasn't in the habit of searching for or liking this content, so this is what balance and freedom is going to look like.
