The people on Reddit are so upset about this. I really don't have a problem with what he said at all. Also the Frost drank too much sometimes rumor has really morphed in a lot of fans minds to he was some severe alcoholic drinking all day.

Missing large portions of your 4 million dollar job because you are hungover is usually a pretty good indicator of alcoholism
Bailing on the most important in-person recruiting visit because you had too many drinks is a very good sign of alcoholism

Frank banged cheerleaders and got them pregnant
Frost was banging college girls and was drunk all the time
Moos was blackout drunk at local bars in Lincoln.
Shockingly, not one single picture of Moos at a bar drunk. Not one picture of Frost soooo hammered at golf courses that he was kicked off the course.
Oh yeah, Bo was "kicked out" of a middle school game and not one picture.

That became more obvious with each year's sad results. NU was under great pressure to get Frost here as he was a former player and was the hottest coach out there at the time. Ended up not working out for anybody.
I don't think Frost is doing himself any favors in the coaching profession by dredging this stuff up.

He's just confirming what we already knew, he did a crappy job without full effort here and that should burn every remaining bridge with Nebraska people. It won't, because some just want to love people from the past no matter what, but it definitely should be the end of support for him.

Are you not aware of the DR home visit he missed? No aquarium guy involved. It happened.
Frost may very well have done poorly anyway, because Nebraska wasn’t and isn’t a G5 job, but his lack of effort and investment in the job was shockingly noticeable. The only excuse he should offer at this point is “I failed” or “I didn’t work hard enough”. Apparently he didn’t learn a thing.
