USC Week Pressers

Teddy is a fifth year senior. He has no further eligibility, and his playing career is over.
Since he missed the entire 2024 season he has the ability to apply for a medical redshirt if he wanted technically speaking. He used his free redshirt in 2022.

Have you missed his entire career or something? He used that a long time ago.
He was a freshman in 2021 and played in 5 games before being hurt. - freshman season counts
In 2022 he only played in 3 games before being hurt so he used his actual redshirt year.
2023 he played last 10 games of the year as a sophomore
2024 he missed his entire year due to an injury in fall camp.
2025 - current year season ending injury after 8 games.

He would absolutely be eligible for a medical redshirt year due to not playing at all in 2024. He has only played in 18 games prior to this year... crazy.

I believe he has hurt both Knees now twice? Did he also hurt his shoulder at some point? His body isn't made for this game. He should retire

MRW I look at the damage that's been done to Teddy's body:

Well that’s sure one way to take some decent news. At the end of the day, I really don’t think we want to touch this coaching cycle, and Rhule in year 3 feels nothing like Cally and Frost at this point.
My reply was a response to @Corn Train commenting this about the article about Matt Rhule signing a contract extension with Rhule when he mentioned:
Last quote by “Source” was really unfortunate way to wrap that up imo"

Here is the last quote:
As one source said, “If he was smart, he’d sign now, before running the risk of a losing streak at the end of the year.” I was giving an opinion of the quote

I see the reasoning and like that the base pay doesn't change, but that incentives are built in. Assures the recruits he is here, but still doesn't mean he won't get fired see Cally and Frost extensions then firing or that another school doesn't offer mad cash to get him.

But let's not kid ourselves this is about the performance of NU. This is about potential for next year, keeping recruits, and hoping that NIL promise was part of the deal. If his name hadn't come up about PSU, he wouldn't have an extension.....Again, the right move to keep the recruits and this is not the best time to go coach shopping. Bowling 2 years in a row after no bowls since 2016 (counting last years bowl as first) is an improvement. Not what fans want, but it is measurable...Still have 5 games to go. Might shock the world.
