The primary problem is that the coaching staff, mostly on offense, coached from a position of extreme fear. They were terrified their players would make mistakes to cost Nebraska the game, and by doing so actively sabotaged the team.
The Dana experiment has got to end. He's actively costing Nebraska points and putting his team in compromised positions. The reason Nebraska loses every game against opponents like this is because the coaches fall into the same trap and they enable it.
Now we're going to hand Rhule an extra $22 million when we inevitably fire him after the 2027 season, all for a coach nobody was eager to steal away.
