Big 12 opener on ESPN for 2009

I am sure the players and coaches are about as happy about this as the fans are. I can see how people that don't normally get to watch the huskers would be pretty happy to see them on HD, but still...I'd rather play on Saturday for sure.

Wonder if this was just a move Missouri made and we had little say in the matter. We must be getting some bucks for it, but i can't see how we would need the money.

I can proof it"s not. I alway have beer and good time with GBR sevral GBR friend before GBRgame. I mean about 10 or so GBR fan and we right nect to stadium. We eat have beer and tailgate. They have all kind red shirt hat and ever thing. Have a good time and enjoy. Never a bother. I say this before and say again. ever one need to stay away from young pup"s when go to away game. They get beer brain and act a fool. No care what school, it can be a same.

Are you freaking kidding me??? Our first interaction with Mizzou fan/husker haters was with a biker gang south of K.C.

I try but You"re mind is close so no point me wasteing my time. Not sure how south of KC is to do with Columbia or how you end up there . May be you had bad map to.

I will have good time with my GBR friend group and you wnat to be mad, so no more offer.

I don't understand this. Doesn't Nebraska have to agree to this as well? Missouri can't unilaterally decide to change teh date.

I don't see why everyone is so upset about this; the result will be twice as satisfying. Think about it, not only will Mizzou get whipped at home, but Blaine Gabbert, after getting torn to shreds, will have to get up the next morning, go to class, and fail his pre-algebra test. Double whammy!

National exposure.

A few extra days to prepare for this game, while still leaving a couple extra days to prep for the TT game.

Maybe we get some compensation out of it, I don't know. Or maybe MU will owe us a favor in the future.

What incentive do we have to turn this down?

I feel badly for those with tickets who may not be able to go, or are inconvienced by the change.

Personally, I'll watch the Huskers if we play Tuesday at 5am, and this also frees up Saturday to watch another game or do something else.
