Awesome, but one question:

The Virginia Tech Corp of Cadets is proud to announce that, barring weather or operational factors, Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC..,
If they're the All Weather squadron, why is it barring weather factors???

Because they are the Marines?

Thats awesome that they got a good ole Seward, NE boy to participate in the fly by.

Just so you all know he is defiantly doing his thing in the Corp as he was recently promoted to Captain just this month.

Can't wait to see it. FedEx just delivered the tickets and parking pass I purchased on ebay. I have a feeling I'm not the only Nebraska fan buying tickets outside of the visitor allotment.

Because if it's overcast with a low ceiling the crowd won't be able to see the planes. Kinda defeats the purpose of a flyby.

Close. If the ceiling is too low or the visibility is not within min requirements, the crews will be restricted from flying low level over populated areas. They're all weather, but there are FAA/Military/USMC requirements for fly-overs.

Was there a fly over last week? I never saw one and my girl friend made me chug my beer to get to the game early

I always wondered with the effort of a flyover, why do they never use smoke like they do in air shows? wouldnt it be cool to see some patriotic smoke trailing the flyover?!
