Former Husker Justin Tomerlin passed away?

How sad! My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends
I worked with Justin here in Solana Beach, CA. Yes, sadly & tragically, he passed away over the weekend. He suffered serious head injuries in a skateboarding fall and the Dr.'s tried everything they could.
As someone who knew him well, I can tell you this... Justin loved being a Husker. You should have seen his pride after the Holiday Bowl this year. He couldn't have been happier.

Very sad to hear this. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.
I would go as far to say he deserved better than having that mentioned in the OP.

No disrespect intended. Just stating the obvious for the sake of showing that regardless of his short tenure with the team under the circumstances, it is still a tragedy. As I said in my follow-up post, Once a Husker, Always a Husker.
