My condolences to you and Justin's family & friends. Once a Husker, always a Husker. He'll be in my thoughts.I worked with Justin here in Solana Beach, CA. Yes, sadly & tragically, he passed away over the weekend. He suffered serious head injuries in a skateboarding fall and the Dr.'s tried everything they could.
As someone who knew him well, I can tell you this... Justin loved being a Husker. You should have seen his pride after the Holiday Bowl this year. He couldn't have been happier.
I would go as far to say he deserved better than having that mentioned in the OP.I realize he was booted off the team in '06 for DUI, but this is still a horrible tragedy regardless.
No disrespect intended. Just stating the obvious for the sake of showing that regardless of his short tenure with the team under the circumstances, it is still a tragedy. As I said in my follow-up post, Once a Husker, Always a Husker.I would go as far to say he deserved better than having that mentioned in the OP.I realize he was booted off the team in '06 for DUI, but this is still a horrible tragedy regardless.
Condolences to family and friends.
