How long do you give this new regime?

How long do you give this new coaching regime to be successful before pulling the plug?

2 Years. If we dont see HUGE improvement on the offensive side of the ball then this whole staff, Bo included, should be gone. At that point we bring in Scott Frost as head coach chuckleshuffle Seriously though, 2 years. This is put up or shut up time for Bo, especially with these hires that lack the wow factor.
Good idea. Bo only wins ten games (like the last two years), even with a horrible offense we should can him. Heck we fired Frank/Bo for a 10 - 3 season so why not?

Last change brought us the superb Callahan years that brought us to within an eyelash of turning into Minnesota. I can't wait to see what NFL reject we bring in this time.
Spot on. I feel like the fanbase thinks we had a losing record last season. We won 10 frickin games!!! Hard to believe we have the best fans when seeing all this ridiculous animosity towards new coaches who haven't even run a single bad play yet.

I'm tired of people saying these are underwhelming hires. I can probably only name you a few Offensive Coordinators in the country right now. Assistant coaches usually fly under the radar unless things go wrong. Bo apparently got who he wanted and can only blame himself if it doesn't work.

I think it's fair to give assistants 2-3 years (whereas head coaches should get 3-4). With Beck the results won't need much interpretation. Does the offensive production improve? Are we able to move the ball with some consistency against top 40 defenses? Do we have some core identity to build on and recruit for? If we're still pretty awful by mid-season 2013, the experiment will have failed.

well, you have to admit, we were a real Jeykel and Hyde program last year, we had the consistency of buttermilk and even "ran off the griddle" a time or two....... a good psychologist wouldn't have a chance trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with the team or the coaches....and now suddenly 3 rookie coaches are gonna turn this thing around in their first season...beachfront property in Nebraska anyone??

Who knew John Papuchis or Mike Ekeler before Bo hired them? Not a damn sole on this board I am willing to wager. Both of these guys were taking their first paying gig.

Bo knows something that we don't and that I will garuntee.

I flat out love what we have going on in Lincoln and I am very excited about the new staff.
I'm a little less worried about Bo going out and getting guys off the street to fill defensive spots. As long as Bo's around, the D will be fine.

Asking Tim "Who's Tim Beck?" Beck to turn a horrid offense around is another thing completely.
Every single person in this world before they are hired to do something new has "never done it before." Tim Beck knows football, that I promise you and he knows what Bo wants.
Pinky promise?
