  1. I couldn't agree more....I think to run a diamond, wing t, wishbone that's great but only as packages...i think size and speed is the answer! Football is changing as they are trying to spread you out more and hurt you with big, fast athletes! Running some of these older packages keeps defenses honest and they must prepare for it but I don't know if that should be your bread n butter. Besides you wont get any skill position recruits in a offense like that!

  2. If this is his main point of emphasis is the way the D-line plays schematically then he should of committed 2 months ago! Nevada and Cal...WTF...you are a 5 star DT...I get A&M to a degree but really? Two words for you that will explain Nebraska's DT scheme......$$$$$$$$.....Sue and Crick....top 10 picks! Say goodbye to Cali and say hello to Husker Nation!

  3. People.....Its not the X's and the O's but the Jimmy's and the Joe's. You have to have the right pieces to run an offense! Currently we are closer than we have been in the past but right now than we havn't been closer since Eric Crouch! The spread option is a very dynamic and generalized offense that takes some precision! We first and foremost need a QB that can run it...Beck is going to run simple and basic plays where there is only an option or two and then Martinez is gonna run! Thats 2011 O-fense! I still think they will be fine but the O needs to be outstanding at there 40-50 plays this year!

  4. Doesn't SC have Jad.... Clowney from last year! A SDE the same position...... The number 1 prospect! I say forget SC and put your own stamp on a D1 school! Mr. Bullard meet the S&C Coach, Sprint and Endurance, Dietitian and your new home the weight room!.....2 years later a Top 10 Pick!....Blackshirt Pride!

  5. After watching the game on DVR....(sober)..... I see great size and great foot quickness! I think he has some outstanding potential, and promise! It is obvious that size is one of his biggest assets, he needs to be a little bit more physical at the point of impact and finish the block... but I think he is an outstanding prospect!

Slimming down and then building up might be the answer, ...kinda what they are doing with Klatchko...slim these prospects down with a lot of cardio and movement.......then they can hit the protein and the weight room!!I know he is a commodity when it comes to OL but Mr. Stanley could be a staple of this upcoming O-Line that ((Belichek Jr.(Pellini) could capitalize on!!!! Im sorry...everytime I watch one of his interviews he deflects and is about as vague as vague gets...I love it! By the way Belichek stole that from Coach Osborne!!!!!!

  6. I would think as a high school defensive lineman a University like Nebraska with the tradition and the continued pedigree of successful defensive lineman would be a perfect place to play! I'm almost surprised at times that some higher end recruits don't seriously consider coming. There are crazy rabid fans, some of the best facilities in the country! One of the best Defensive Coaching staffs in the country. At least we are getting some visits, but if you had to think of a school to play D-Line....I'm hard pressed to think that Nebraska isn't a top 5 location in the country!
