This is my first time on this board so I don't know if this photo has been talked about. Does anyone know why there was a black helmet in the locker room?

 

The black helmet was made years ago as a joke...its a texas tech helmet with our sticker on it. A lot of time the equipment guys swap helmets with other teams

Theres the same picture out there of us in our regular uniforms and someone just photoshopped it. I think it was a adidas ad for the cleats or something..If we did black uniforms I would hope they could do better than that. Adidas also would have shown the new gloves no those ugly grey ones..
