  1. You guys are looking way too far into this. I have no problem with his tweets about missing his family and his other comments. If you would read both sides of the conversation with Aaron and ryanscharf, it's no big deal.

To me, he is clearly still 100% into being a Husker. He sent this tweet below about wanting to go to the Rose Bowl after all that family stuff. Then some idiot tweeted to him, and Aaron tweeted back to him. He obviously loves where he's at. IMO, he has said nothing for this thread to start.

Wanna go to the Bowl of Roses man:(

@AGreen_2 Huskers don't deserve Rose Bowl invite if they can't even beat an avg Northwestern team At HOME!!! Wis would win again prob

@dlrn64 dont talk about my team, we all mess up will be back

  2. That clap pissed me off.

Both now when I actually got to hear it, and on ESPN when it was obvious they weren't finished.

I liked the clapping. Thought it was a good ending to the prayer. I think the fans were just trying to support what was going on. The prayer was a total shock to the fans and they couldn't hear the prayer.

  3. All emotions aside, Iowa. Anything that helps us get to Indy, I'll take

Thank you. Someone who gets it.

    Lord almighty!!!!!!!!!!!

Respect be damned, just like we should hope that our non-divisional opponents beat our divisional opponents every game. I don't see why this is so difficult.

Soooooo..... By this logic, we should have joined the Big East instead? Then we could win the conference every year because nobody else is any good. No! It's about pride, man! Beating good teams on their home turf is what defines great teams, and I would rather we be challenged. If we win vs. a 1-loss Michigan team, we deserve to make it to the CCG. If we don't win, then we don't deserve to win our division.

    PRIDE

    Exactly right!

  4. Love the Husker "Rant". Here's a snid bit from it.

"For a 5 1/2 quarter stretch of the last 2 games, including the last 3 qtrs of Wisconsin and the first 2 1/2 against Ohio State, Nebraska was outscored.....62-9. However, during the other positive 2 1/2 qtrs, Nebraska outscored Wiscy and OSU, 48-7. Yes we are 5-1 but all is not well in Huskerland. Are We Dr. Jeckyll....or Hyde? Do we dance like Fred Flinstone?....or like Fred Astaire?

Polar opposites....The first half was the worst prepared Husker team, excluding clueless Callahan, and execution of game plan that I had ever witnessed.... and the 2nd half was it's...... Antartica."

  5. I'm thinking Tommie would be the difference maker but our defense could really use a guy like Suh as well. This would be a tough decision. Sorry but I'm bored reading about Wisconsin and Martin Ez.

  6. Toss up between Joe Ganz and Tommie.

Never liked Frost... He always seemed like a weasel, crawling back here from Stanford.

Crouch was a beast. Put the team on his back.

Seriously? With all due respect to Ganz, what did he actually accomplish at Nebraska? What game winning drives did he engineer to get a big win? I mean come on. He was at times a pick 6 machine too. He was a gamer and a good QB, but definately not one of our top 10 QBs.

Joe Ganz was very good in 2008. He had one of best seasons ever by a Husker QB, statistically. He threw for over 3,500 yards and 25 TD's and only 11 picks. He was the Gator bowl MVP. At the time, he may not of looked as good compared to the other QB's in the Big 12 like Chase Daniel, Todd Reesing, Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, and Graham Harrell but he was pretty good, and he would fit in great with our style of play now.
