Lol! This one is my favoriteSpecial Ed Conference

Superhuman, Edjamacated, Cuntference. PS - I think Bret gets an extra $500 for every time he says "SEC"

Me too, but I wouldn't want to run that kind of offense with the defense we have. Our defense would have to be a little bit better for me to feel comfortable running the triple option.
Agree. Fun to watch. Can you imagine the 2014 blackshirts trying to stop that sh#t? It'd be ugly.man, I miss the option...
I wish we were running it...

I will not... oh wait
You. You get out of hereAmen!

Any current rumors as to what Ron Brown is doing or being included in?
Sometimes cleaning house and bringing in a whole new staff is what needs to happen. You can't keep holding over coaches from each staff because thats what is expected and out of loyalty for Dr. Tom.
If this coaching change fails, the program never returns back to anything close to what it even is right now. Hiring the right assistants is where it all starts.

Is this real life?

I read the title, and thought it was a thread Mrs. Riley started. My mistake.

Quite frankly having great QB play is having an OC who can actually coach a QB and then call plays that are suited to the QB's skill set.We haven't had good QB play sense, Joe Ganz. It's about damn time we get a QB that can actually play QB.
T_O_B
Yeah, that's true, but you still have to have a QB that can play the QB position. Under the same OC, Sam Keller, and Joe Ganz were a night and day difference.

Is she going to make it?!

Forgive me if this has been said....but....
I was reading all the other threads. I find it odd to hire a coach without really any kind of interview process. What was that conversation like? Hey want a job....Maybe....it's Nebraska....OK.
Part of me thinks that he hired this coach because he wants him to only win 7 games for a bit. I know that sounds crazy...but by then other great coaches will forget the "I fired the 9 wins per season" guy. Then they might want to come in here and try to build a Champion. At that point it might be too late and the damage has been done...dont you think we have hurt long enough since Clown - a - han.
Problem I have is that great coaches figure out how to win no matter what their talent or circumstance (Duke, Baylor, Kstate, heck even Kansas at one point). Please don't point to his bowl wins....winning the independence bowl and the hawaii bowl can be done with the old staff. Just because this guy has access to more resources does not mean he will be any different.
I want to eat crow so much...but I just do not see the next 5 years being very nice to us Husker fans. Please let me be wrong
With that said...i will be sitting on my couch come the first game next year..and cheering on my team no matter what my feelings of the hire. GBR!!!!!!
Babbling off!
You're thinking too hard.
It was already verbally set up before the fire.

Ummm....
If your wondering why this is being posted here even though I believe this was linked in another thread, i do this because there are more casual observers of huskerboard than diehards. Many people don't want to dig through a 6 page mega thread to see if anything new has happened. This allows those to see the new news quicker.
Good looking out brah

Maybe Bo could go halvesies with the guy. Chip in some of the $25 million he got from UNL over the past seven years.
Just a thought. lol
Agreed. I mean seriously, the guy did you a favor, Bo.

I like apple juice.

I quit. Screw this. Talk about an ultimate F you to the fans if this happens. How the hell are we supposed to be excited about this? The whole point of getting rid of Bo was to escape mediocrity and pursue everyone's aspirations of becoming nationally relevant again. He sure as hell isn't doing that at Arkansas! If this is true, seriously, screw you, Eichorst.

I guess I don't understand. Is the pro-Bielema consensus really just to beat Wisconsin as severely as they beat us in the PAST? First, we aren't going to do that. Second, have our standards really dropped so far that instead of seeking championships, we only want to beat Wisconsin?! I am stunned.
I think he's saying that Bielema is a better coach than Pelini. 39 points better, in fact. Or, a field goal shy of six touch downs better, if I read it correctly.
And their new coach was only 4 points away from that margin... Proof that it wasn't Bret that caused that.

I super dislike Bret Bulimia for many reasons; I'm not alone either. First game he losses.. he's gone. He's not a likeable enough guy to have any kind of a cushion loss. Frost would be a better hire, for many reasons.

Shaw? I don't want someone with a name that comes from Wayne's World.

Armstrong Leading the QB Race
No surprise, but thanks for this topic

Nope. Reason: if we have a losing season (without a bowl game mind you), Bo would most likely be canned, and our football program would be in disarray. That would suck.

It appears this photo was taken at night, and Miss Lippy's car is green.

So what the f#*k was the problem last year?
They use a new laundry detergent for the uniforms.
I'm glad you mentioned the detergent, because you're absolutely correct. Laundry detergent contains nonionic and anionic surfactants, ethoxylated polyethylene polyamide (polymer) and enzymes.
If these chemicals come in contact with the skin (the thin layer of tissue forming the natural outer covering of the body of a person or animal), it greatly reduces testosterone levels.
The best way to avoid this tragedy is by using Tide PODS, or detergent capsules. These devices keep detergent from coming in contact with the skin, thus making it impossible for the detergent to soak into your pours, which would cause a rapid decline in overall testosterone production.

I changed my approach once.

The perfect conference already exists... it's called the SEC. Everybody knows that they are the goodest. I just hope that one day teams from other conferences will be able to play at the superhuman levels that they do.
Does this mean we want Iowa to win.

I would wear yellow & black if it caused yet another SEC team to lose.
