There is no purpose in government in schools whatsoever. Running a school is simple and the demand is everywhere and growing. Forced monopoly k-12 is idiotic and a majority of taxpayers know it and want it ended. Trump and Pence are committed to reform. Democrats are opposed. Fight is raging. Hope the democrats lose it. I've been paying private schools bills for over a decade btw. Kid's school operates at below 50% of nat'l average $/kid and score 94 percentile on standardized testing.

No knapplc, I don't advocate anything that I didn't stay. Pay attention.

 

 

Everyone has the right to send their child to any type of school they choose. The idea that paying for non-public school is any type of a tax break not only widens the education gap between have & have-nots but officially punishes those without financial means to pay for school directly. Taking money away from public to pay for the credit further punishes public schools.

 

Non-democrats, like me, want OUR MONEY (taxes) spent educating OUR KIDS on schools WE CHOOSE. Bad schools will lose students, and the funding per student, as they should. It's called competition. The worst schools admins and teachers will find themselves out of game, eventually, which is where they belong.

Now to to OP....sounds great. If he can get half of it passed it will provide for major improvements. Old Mitch Mc appears to be quite opposed to not being able to stay in the Senate until he dies. Hopefully he loses that fight (term limits not life/death fight ha I don't want him dead just want him out of government).

The committee just CANNOT put OSU in and leave PSU out though without risk of setting a precedent of making the regular season and conference championships irrelevant.

 

It's one of those things that even though the subjective point is the better way to go, the objective can't be ignored because of the process.

If Wisconsin wins the title, then OSU has a better argument because they beat Wisconsin head to head. Ohio State NEEDED Michigan to win out till their game in Columbus.

 

 

You think they CANNOT do something, that they will in fact do, if OSU and PSU win out, IMO.

Odds are we don't get to witness it though since OSU must beat Mich and MichSt and PSU needs to beat MichSt and Wisky (.5*.8*.8*.4=13%)

Beck is garbage. Look at what has happened to Cardale Jones and JT Barret under his watch as qb coach. Not simply a mechanics standpoint. I'm talkin from an overall quarterback performance point. Inconsistent. Failure to execute simple things. It's just that as more time goes by, the more i think that Martinez and Armstrong were kinda screwed over in the qb development category. Just my opinion.

NU +14.5 or more is a weekly special, IMO. OSU is underperforming in recent weeks and NU rules Q4. Terrible combination for an OSU bet as a large favorite. Also revenge factor for NU feeling probably a bit robbed yet with a win it'll be beating Wiscy at the same time as it probably gives the divisional crown to the Huskers.
