Why would rivals.com have us number ten and scout.com have us number twenty-three? That does not make sense to me. Do they have different standards for recruits or something? What's the deal?

I thought Rivals had us #10 and Scout at #23.

Correction: We were number 9 on rivals.com up until today. Right now we are number 10. I believe Florida jumped ahead of us all the way to number 5. I may be wrong though.

I know, as of right now, we are #9 in the nation in recruiting. Hopefully that is the lowest we will be.

All I can say is, if the Huskers keep playing like the Colorado game and Callahan keeps on coaching that way, Steve Pederson is going to be considered a genius.

Sounds awesome! Hopefully we will continue to play like this for as long as Callahan is here. I know we will win some and lose some but I think next season we will prove that Big Red is not dead and we march on to victory, returning to be a perennial threat once again.

You're right. I will probably go over there again next year around this time but I think the 30-3 score will give them plenty to think about for a year.

Roy, I honestly don't see how anyone would want to subject themselves to that type of behavior period.

Regardless if you are trying to be a "sportsman" about it, there are always a few in the bunch (and I think you know who I am talking about) that always make the whole group look like crap. Student Sections 116 and 117 proved that on Friday.

I would consider it a 'decent' site if the Moderators and Admins played more of a neutral roll, they don't.

I read what you posted about your title. The site ADMIN flat out told you that it wouldn't be changed.

Do you see our ADMINS and MODS going around and messing with the few Buff Fans we have on here? No.

That board mirrors the school to a T. It all comes from the top down. There is little order and they all pat each other by giving "reputation" points for slamming us Husker Fans.

My advice to you, wear that shirt now.

 

It's sad actually. I really paid no mind to the fans of that state. I assumed that all of what I heard about the flying debris was hearsay. Well, as we witnessed, it is not.

I have relatives in both Ft. Collins and Loveland. I always enjoyed the drive through the Rockies and across the summit. But now, in the back of my mind, I will always remember this past week. Both from what I saw on tv and the way the Huskers were treated on their board.

 

Call it trolling, but we showed them respect all the way up to the first derogatory statement. How you kept the majority of your composure, I'll never know.

Really! I am "Tom Osborne's love child" on that forum and someone else(it may be you) is "Cornjerker-spurt spurt." They even made my signature "CU-62, NU- 36." They talked so much smack to us before the game and now they are telling us how much they hate us instead of telling us what a great game we played. Those people on that board, like the Colorado players, are fueled by hate and out to get Nebraska. It is ridiculous the amount of tampering they commit against Husker fans' profiles. I'm surprised I'm not banned from the site for having the "NU OWNS Colorado" tag as my avatar.

From my understanding, the CU and NU players were warming up. One of the CU players didn't like the fact that one of the NU players was streching over the CU logo, and he brought it to his teams attention, they huddeled together, and began crawling closer and closer to the NU side and began taunting the players who were still warming up. NU huddeled up and CU began trash talking and that's when it got crowded at midfield. Our players showed class by doing the talking on the field.

Got mad for stretching over the Buff logo at midfield? Sounds like Colorado. That is ridiculous but maybe next time they'll realize that we can do whatever we want to that stupid logo, including stomp on it.

i will tell you this......if Beck is going to beat him out next year he will have to play his ass-off! taylor can scramble for positive yards too.....he looked great last Saturday!

What a hard choice to make. I voted for Nunn even though it could have been Taylor, Ross, Swift, or Bullocks and some other defensive players. I think Nunn made some big plays when we needed him to.

I think Nebraska will play FSU in the Champs Sports Bowl.

No. Texas Tech will be #2 because of their conference record.

Now you know how we felt when we kicked NU 62-36 won the Big XII North, beat Texas 39-37 in the Big XII Championship and get screwed why Nebraska gets to go and play Miami in the Rose Bowl. There were two teams that year that deserved the Rose Bowl more than NU...Colorado and Oregon.

 

So stop complaining...win the games you are supposed to (Missouri and Kansas) and you win the Big XII North.

I don't know about that. Oregon lost to Stanford at home that year. Colorado had lost to Fresno State and Texas in the regular season. Oregon is arguable but Colorado was not even considered for going. A two-loss team playing in the NC? I don't think so.

NU also had a convincing win when they played #1 or was it #2 Oklahoma? Either way that was HUGE

A two loss team playing in the National Championship is about like a 4 loss team thinking they should be playing for the Big 12 title game. Should not happen.

Ya, it's pretty silly that we can dominate the Big XII North except for the bad teams like Kansas. We should really be champs and everyone knows it. We will be next year. Watch out Kansas!

If you watched to Colorado game you know that Colorado has "v-back" named Vickers. Can anyone tell me exactly what he does and what he is used for? Just curious about that because I have never heard of it before.

Is anyone going to watch the Iowa State-Kansas game? I'm going to be pulling for Iowa State just because those punks at Colorado run their mouths so much. I'd rather see what Iowa State can do against Texas instead of seeing Colorado get whooped again. Go 'Clones!

I guess he felt like he needed to desecrate their field by spitting, which is ok by me. Also I loved how he called timeouts at the end of the game. I know it was unnecessary but it prolonged the pain. Ouch!

Now if we can take it to whomever in the bowl game I'll be thrilled and right now I believe we can take on anyone.

The team we saw against Colorado performed like Big XII contenders. If we see them play like that next year, you can bet they will be in the Big XII championship and probably a BCS bowl. Hopefully they will keep playing like that, win the bowl game, and have momentum for next year; the year we prove we are back and we are for real.
