I always deferred back to the fact that a lot of pros liked working with him in the offseason, so there at least has to be some higher level of teaching acumen there.
We are talking about Keith Williams right?

Feels head scratching? Going to have to trust the process, after all everything we thought was right has turned out to be wrong.

One positive about MJ's time as IHC was that only one guy transferred out after Frost was fired. I think the players really respect him and I think if he is retained that we will have very few transfers out of the program. We retain MJ, MJ retains the players. But, it is all in the HC hands ultimately.
Do we want to retain a ton of them?

I have no words. One thing that can alleviate this feelings is announcing the new coach.

Maybe the entire time TA only wanted MJ and then when that looked like a terrible idea he started to look. Now we might be where we are at. I for one think he can’t get it any worse than we have had since we fired Bo. I have been so beaten up that anything will be better than what has happened since Cally.

Guys I don't see taking the job but could always go through channels to gauge interest:
Fickell
Urban(sketch but if you want the best chance to win he's your guy)
Stoops
Peterson
Campbell(most likely of the group, depends on how he's feeling about the 12 shake-up)
Solid guys I could see taking the job:
Dave Clawson
Hugh Freeze(has a past, we're probably too uptight to take him)
Jamey Chadwell.
Bill O'Brien
Jeff Hafley
Bronco Mendenhall
Dave Aranda(probably the toughest get of this group)
Haven't put any research into it but my faves off the top of my head would be Chadwell, Clawson, and O'Brien.
From Frost to Freeze, i mean seems like at least movement.

Are people really wondering why Moos would prefer Kelly over Frost??? I love SF and want him to return home but look at Kelly's resume, I mean if you are part of the "we need a proven coach" club - it ain't gonna get any better than Kelly. 46-7 (33-3) in 4 years, 3 top 5 finishes, 2 BCS bowl wins and 4 points away from winning a national title. Now I really don't think were gonna get Kelly, but that would be about as big of a splash hire that you could make.
I think he would also bring some probation with him. SF all the way.

So it was ineptitude. At least we don't have to fire a 9 win coach this time.

Tanner Lee has a really hard time when he has any pressure on him. His accuracy seems to go way down when he is not in a clean pocket. Unfortunately for him I dont think that he will have that many clean pockets with this line.

The only reason, was not that Bob made the adjustments, they let off the gas pure and simple. They were never able to turn it on after that. We seemed to really lose 3 steps when Tre Bryant went out of the game of offense.

based on reading all the insights provided by so many experts here on huskerboard i would guess oregon favored by at least a hundred.
And Hillary was going to win the election hands down as well. How did that work out?

I personally just am looking forward to seeing a screen pass that is thrown where it is supposed to be. After the last 8 years of watching Martinez and Armstrong it will be a pleasant change.

How about this.. You hire Perlman's replacement now. Let him walk the halls of the Admin. and loom over Harvey like the spectre of Death, kind of like they did with Eichorst before TO finally left. You have that incoming hire put strong indicators into Eichorst's ear that if he doesn't pull the trigger on MR &Co. now, he's done like a dinner as quick as the hand-over takes place. I think SE is enough of the self-serving type to drop MR like a hot rock, hell it's not his money.
Then, you steer SE's hire to your preferred candidate while keeping in mind an AD replacement's ability to get along with said hire. Upon hand-over you can SE anyway, and then publically state the reason as a dislike for the hiring carousel and how it reflects poorly on the university, "Not the Nebraska Way" and all that. You get your coach, you get your AD, and HP & SE get to take the stigmata with them as they leave.
Yeah, kind of cut-throat, but needs must.
BRILLIANT

So the only person I really saw that seemed to be dogging it was 25. He just looked like he didnt want to be back out there.
I am not a trained eye...but that is what I think I saw. Most of the other stuff was just not in the right area of the field to make a play.

Wow...coaching and recruiting can change a lot. So far, I have not seen much "coaching" at NU this season. I want the coaching staff to shine the so called talent turds you all say are on this team. Here is to 2 more years of this crapfest of coaching.
See what I did there?

I think that Stewart was kinda a oh crap what do we do now hire. I don't see him being around next season. I really wish that Warren never left. His DB's only have 813 yards against them through 6 games, STINGY.

I really liked this q&a. He gets me pumped to say 2 things. 1. Coach to what you have for personnel. 2. Do the blackshirts right.
love that he didn’t have all the answers. He will figure it out.
