  1. I am happy to see the Huskers win tonight but I dont understand why we continued to let Fyfe sling the rock all throughout the 4th quarter. It is one thing if you want to run it up by running the ball...but to keep moving it that way just felt low class.

Here is to hoping I can feel the same way next week in the 4th quarter when we are in Maimi.

  2. We lack talent. This game was lost because we could not get 1 yard twice in the 4th quarter.

well i even knew what we were trying to do. Everyone was in the box and we still tried to do it. It was chicken playcalling. They were playing not to lose and not playing with a killer instinct.

  3. Lets say Stanton is good enough to QB from here on out. Does Armstrong convert to WR or RB or would you see him saying f it and transfer out.

I dont think that TA could be a running back...he just takes to long to get started...he always looks like he is stuck in mudd until he gets his stride. He also seems very hesitant to pick a spot and go.

  4. Forgive me if this has been said....but....

I was reading all the other threads. I find it odd to hire a coach without really any kind of interview process. What was that conversation like? Hey want a job....Maybe....it's Nebraska....OK.

Part of me thinks that he hired this coach because he wants him to only win 7 games for a bit. I know that sounds crazy...but by then other great coaches will forget the "I fired the 9 wins per season" guy. Then they might want to come in here and try to build a Champion. At that point it might be too late and the damage has been done...dont you think we have hurt long enough since Clown - a - han.

Problem I have is that great coaches figure out how to win no matter what their talent or circumstance (Duke, Baylor, Kstate, heck even Kansas at one point). Please don't point to his bowl wins....winning the independence bowl and the hawaii bowl can be done with the old staff. Just because this guy has access to more resources does not mean he will be any different.

I want to eat crow so much...but I just do not see the next 5 years being very nice to us Husker fans. Please let me be wrong

With that said...i will be sitting on my couch come the first game next year..and cheering on my team no matter what my feelings of the hire. GBR!!!!!!

    Babbling off!

    :boxosoap:rant

  5. HAHA he wants to be a QB. Just try to be a WR or S. No NFL team in their right mind will give this guy a shot at QB.
    Double D comment....dick and douche.
I am no internet jockey. Seriously. I have said since Day 1 that Taylor would never lead this team anywhere. I am not a fan. For him to think he can play QB....in the NFL....come on man. And thanks for the personal attack.
Looks to me like he was referring to your comment as the Double D...not you. Reading comprehension is hard I suppose.

    Yep....i can't read n0n3.

  7. Just something about him. Not the throwing ability or the lack of running. Even when he was healthy and putting up big rushing numbers in his frosh and sophmore year. I cant really explain it, just dont see any leadership from him on the field when he should be the leader.

    All the time.

  8. I'm surprised SDSU game. Zemmer is very good but 200+ yards? Essentially 1st half. Most of the 2nd half was mysterious missing (Zemmer). Injury?

The total yards against Huskers was 470 !!!!. In FCS team?

However, TA and RKIII was much better passing than I thought. Surprisingly good. Before the game I was thinking about 2 or 3 picks and a few sacks. And Beck's attack was 85% rushing, 15% passing.

You noticed TMart was worried face on TV?

My prediction was NU 42 and SDSU 17 or something like that.

"Hard like rain?" Tuff Tiger is that you?

  9. I correct myself.

Belichick subsequently attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut where he played center and tight end. In addition to being a member of the football team, he played lacrosse and squash, serving as the captain of the lacrosse team during his senior season. A member of Chi Psi fraternity,[5] he earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 1975.[6] He would eventually be part of the inaugural induction class into the university's Athletics Hall of Fame inSpring 2008.[7]
