  1. I was reading about the new players this year, and I noticed offensive lineman David Knevel is 6'9". Is this too tall for OL? Will he block the QB's vision? Would he be better off as a DL so he could bat down passes?

Being from New England, take a peek at the Pats two bookends at tackle. Solder at 6/8" and Vollmer at 6'9".

    So No, No, No.

  2. You know....in the end, I give Bo credit for sticking with his troops...especially all those 5 year guys. They made up for their lack of athletisism with heart and guile. THAT'S WHY THEY ARE 10-2. IT SURE AS HELL AINT BECAUSE OF THEIR SPEED or pure athletic ability.

But the bottom line is...when given the chance, Bo and staff will get outcoached when it matters most. Even the most ardent supporter of Bo can't defend THIS....or any of the other embarassing losses on the big stage. Tonight, we have set ourselves back another 5 years with this performance.

When will those who continue to preach patience begin to lose their own?

  3. Rich Fisher hiring was great.

    Ross Ells hiring was great

    Tim Beck's promotion was great

    Terry Joseph's hiring was great

    Rick Kaczenski's hiring was great

John Papuchis' promotion is still questionable, but I have a feeling will be great.

He has hired/promoted a lot of coaches that are doing great things for us, and a lot of them, or most of them have been equally scrutinized as much as the other. Quality coaching staff, and takes more than a year or two to see their best performances.

Ross Ells is the one I question the most....

People throw the word "great" around way too much. :wasted

  4. Guys....I've got wood having watched this comeback. But in the end, we beat a mediocre Wiscy team at home....and had to comeback from 17 to do it.

Lets celebrate this win. But October is the tell-tale for where this team will fall.

    STFU.

    Exactly.

    ^^^^

    Lover of mediocrity :ahhhhhhhh

Lover of the sky is falling. :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh

It's cool to be negative all the time. chuckleshuffle

Are you kidding? I was rooting like a madman through this entire game.

I just choose to see this team for what it is. Another 8-9 win team.

Far from our expectations of years ago. No?

  5. I don't see how people can be disappointed in this win. The team easily could've quit when they were down 27-10. Instead they showed tremendous resolve and should be applauded. Steinkuhler and others really came to life tonight.

I'm truly happy to see that this team has a heartbeat. Really, I am. But this fanbase has gone from expecting perfection to cheering medocrity. And well, that doesn't sit well with me. Tonight should have never happened. But it did.

    FLU, is that you??

Naah....just someone who doesn't emote about reality. Looks at facts and accepts them for what they are.

    Great win. Fun to watch.

    Doesn't change reality.

  6. I'm ecstatic, but let's not delude ourselves. We scabbed a win. This team has some major issues, but at least I don't have to go to work on Monday morning and be chided by all of the fair weather Badger fans.

    I'm with ya Paul.

I can't walk around with a boner knowing we beat an inferior team and had to come back from 17 (at home) to do it.

But it was great entertainment.....and in the end, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Thanks, from one "pu&&y" to another. Lol

    :wasted
