Yep, since his visit, 9 straight CBs for Nebraska.
I'm feeling pretty good about this.
Wondering what his time line for wanting to announce is??? Usually I think a group of CBs like that means a kid is close to announcing.
Thursday.

By saying our last staff didn't recruit well, (a) youre taking a back handed swipe at the current t talent, (b) you're ignoring that there have been several facility upgrades and support staff expansions and © youre ignoring that our classes had strong rankings and a lot of kids who were highly ranked.
There's a lot of hype associated with California connections, and I don't feel like sinking to the level of some of you and disparaging our current recruits. So, I'll just say, a different geo strategy doesn't mean we are necessarily recruiting better.
This staff could recruit a Top 5 class and win the national championship, and you'd find something to complain about regarding this staff, while defending Pelini and his clown show staff. We just hosted one of biggest recruiting weekends maybe ever, and this staff has a ton of momentum right now. How can you honestly say that this staff, now that they have established themselves here, aren't recruiting better than the last staff. That's not disparaging the kids the last staff recruited, but if you can't see that we need A LOT better talent to compete for championships, you're friggin' blind. And it's coming, though I'm sure you won't see it or admit to it because your hate for Riley and Co. is obviously blinding you.

Really hope we can keep this guy. A little background is Lake Travis plays in highest classification 5A, they went 15-1 last year losing only to Katy in the state championship game. So hes playing against great competition and hes a winner.

Husker nation is in real trouble based on some of the vitriol I'm seeing in the Twitter universe over this. The divide that was ripped open in 2003 remains today, I don't think we have a person who can come in and fix it. The fan base is seriously fractured.
Basing any opinion from the cesspool that is Twitter is the most idiotic thing you can do.

Lets see. You give a statement in a department culture review that isn't favorable of the culture currently in place. That gets leaked out early. All of the sudden your boss has someone attend every single thing you do meeting and practice wise looking for anything to find just cause. He finds what he needs, says he's terminating, she states she'll counter sue they work out a deal where she gets most of her remaining contract.
Coach is now being defended by a very solid former player and former coaches at NU. Her, Miles and Bo were very close knit from those who know them.
Miles is up next.

4 - Ed Morrow/Michael Jacobson - this is the spot both of these guys should be playing at. This is also where they will play best. We need to free them up to play here so we can optimize their skill sets. I believe Ed is a heck of a player ready to erupt if he can get the mental part down and heal from his back and plantar injury pains.
The coaches see Jacobson as a 3. That's why he was taking more 3s as the year went on. I'm not sure I see it but that's what they said.
I love Morrow but he's a 4 in a 3's body. He's a tweener who lives on pure effort.
What? Jacobsen is not a 3 and has never been seen as a 3. When have the coaches ever said that?

Not a take. His HS 40 time is too slow. Tape schmape, I only care about 40 times!!!

Come on all your posters that said things like "just give him time"...this kid was horrid
You want a cookie? Good job dude, you called the kid a horrible basketball player and predicted that he would fail.

This is a little off topic, but I'llpost it up anyway and get ready for the beat down ... again. Last year I posted a video of a Jr High player that was about to enroll at Katy. I was rudly accused of "pimping him out" ... but I was trying to give you guys a heads-up on him. He was brought up to varsity and put on the field when featured RB Kyle Porter (committed to u. of Texas ... yuck) was injured and out for 5 games. Here is how that turned out.
A freshman and he already has offers from Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas
Deondrick also plays wide-out and QB and most likely fits the Mike Riley template for a RB.
Another heads up ... we have another RB the runs a 4.26 40 yd. Timed electronically at the US Army combine in San Antonio last year. Didn't get to play last year ... was a transfer and had to sit out a year and play JV
Seems like a good fit for Washington, since that's where you think Adam Taylor should go. I don't know why you would want Deondrick to come here, I mean Nebraska is where great talent goes to die. Especially with the way our idiot head coach Mike Riley has treated Adam.

Terrell Bynum has an averystrong hastag on his twitter Bio, I am not sure if that gives us an edge or he is supporting Avery because he inspires him. If he comes here our receiving core for this class will be really good, add in a couple good QBs(Coan or Gebbia) with POB and we will have a dynamic offense coupled with two solid RBs and this offense could be extremely hard to defend.
Not the same #AveryStrong. The one he's got in his profile is about the daughter of Brandon Huffman, a writer/recruiting analyst for Scout that is from out West.

He has seemed solid to us, so to hear him say he is struggling now doesn't bode well for from my perspective.
Yep 100% Ohio State bound.
Oh boy, hope you are using sarcasm.

Man, if Nebraska could just get a big, athletic 6'11+
Well, of course that would help, but it is more than just that. Maryland just really quit for a long time.. That said NU didn't give up
Ok.
Oh come on.. They let us roll the ball all the way into the front court.. That is being comfortable.
NU fought damn hard to claw back, I give them props, but facts are facts.
YEAH DUDE!! FIRE MILES!!!

Listening to Bennings Description of His Interview with Langs
in Husker Football
Posted
So Langsdorf put in some different plays and packages during THE SPRING, they practiced and learned them. They now have them in the playbook to study all summer. And you're complaining.....
Sorry that we're not going to run option to the left, option to the right, fullback trap, constantly.
