Looking back at these teams gets me so fired up for the season! Not long now...

When you think that way teams will sneak up on you. The Big Ten has always been a league that can produce upsets every weekend, no matter the team.

I happened to see MSU's preview last night on Big Ten Network. I would have to saw that their lack of experience at quarterback may give them problems, but their defense looks geared up. They seem to be a squad who believes in more than they can actually produce, which translates well on the field. However, I don't see them causing any fits for us this year; we will handle them in the same manner as we did a year ago.

Of course Tebow had to be in there....

In case you missed it. Espn stands for Eastern Sports Preferred Network. I use espn for live sports and nothing else. They offer you nothing of substance. Horrible just horrible
I completely agree with you. Current sporting news is it for them. They can even botch that sometimes as coverage is beat to death for no reason at all, e.g., Tebow. That's why I tend to watch ESPNEWS when I just want to catch some highlights or anything big because usually I don't have time for them to waste time on what they think is important.

Rex isn't even going to be a finalist. Even if his stats inch him into the top 5, he lacks the flash that all Heisman finalists need.
Agreed...unless he has some unbelievable games in primetime or against top-rated teams. You're right, he doesn't have that "flash" that others have this year and in years past. He's just a workhorse that gets the job done.

Would like to but as usual can't afford to. How do you think the Husker fans will be received in Columbus?
I think we will be fine in Columbus. These are big games between these schools and there has been no hatred started yet. Going to the game and tailgating will be fun, but just like some other people have said I would stay away from the bars. Too many people get cramed inside and lots of alcohol is consumed. That's just a breeding ground for trouble...

Given the year they had last year and their win over Georgia in a big bowl game, this is the type of thing that happens in the offseason. People actually view them positively.... Imagine that.
I think that is it...they created a 'new' image in East Lansing with Dantonio. People and the media look at them differently now; they are not the football program they used to be under the last couple of coaches (it was a train wreck). With that said and the seasons they have had the last two years, they are getting recognized more and more nationally. I can't wait to see how they respond to our thrashing of them last year.....

I think Minnesota could surprise some people this year. Our Lb'ers could prove to be one of the top units in the Big Ten when all is said and done. 7th is probably low for this group. A lot of unknowns, but we have the talent here for sure. Can this coaching staff develop it and utilize it's potential. That has yet to be seen.
Minnesota could definitely surprise some team this season. When you have a mobile QB your options are more open and defensive gameplans could be a scatch. They played Sparty pretty tough last year at their house and I'm confident they will bring it again this year in a more consistent manor.
Nebraska's Big Ten Chances.....

Since the college football season starts this week I was curious as to what the odds for the Big Ten were. The Huskers are somewhat in the mix, but do you think they were given the right odds? I guess depending on your perspective we will hear both sides. The link can be found here: http://www.docsports...tball-odds.html
