All yall bashing Sumlin and accusing him of "SEC" style recruiting tactics don't have a clue what you are talking about. This year's class has a lot of people that count for last year (they took a small class last year). Not to mention, of the current commitments, 9 or so are early enrollees this semester. Furthermore, there are at least 2 current commitments (Griffin and Victor Davis) that have basically no shot of qualifying... Before you call Sumlin "trash" or "scum," try to do some research first. Just sayin'.
Sumlin is trash and scum. I don't need to do any research. Thanks.
Did he steal your wife or something?? You don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Oh, and Quincy is a very good looking receiver prospect. He is still very raw, but he has tons of potential for growth. He put up huge numbers for Cedar Hill this year. Look for him to end up at Tech or TCU. My bet would be he ends up at Tech with Kliff Kingsbury being the new HC there.

Committed to A&M today

Imagining what an SEC team would do to the Huskers makes me feel like this:
-
To the OSU fans, sorry NU represented so well in the game and let a 3rd place team in the 'leaders' division win the whole she-bang. Pathetic. I know.

Hey, this has been a forgettable season for the ENTIRE conference. Look forward to 2013 by winning in January against whomever you play.
I'm hearing A&M in capital one bowl.

Blocking the tackler is now a penalty. Excellent.
no but targeting the helmet is.
You are so F**king stupid. I don't even care if I get banned for saying it.

Worst performance I have ever seen from Nebraska. That is saying a lot considering what we went through under Callahan. I have never been more embarrassed as I am watching this pathetic excuse for a football team.
-
aTm fitting into the SEC quite well, I see.
He wasn't able to enroll in the Spring as A&M and him had planned. Therefore, A&M would no longer have room for him when they have a couple other HUGE prospects still deciding....

Ryan Tannehill and Garret Gilbert?
C'mon man! Tannehill could run. He was a great receiver for the Aggies before he converted back to QB

Texas could begin to suffer from their losses. That program is all of a sudden vulnerable, and A&M is showing the country it can compete in the SEC, which gives kids another option in state.
I always kind of liked aTm and now I'm liking them even more.
The Ags are in good shape with several of Texas' top recruits for 2014. They are trending up while it looks like t.u is trending down.

The Big 10's no night games in November rule is outdated.
+1
No doubt. November primetime football games are about as exciting as it gets. It would give far bigger exposure to the B1G as well. The conference needs a shot of life right now and it is missing out on a huge opportunity by limiting game times. To appease the people who still favor this current policy due to weather, the conference can at least set up a couple games at indoor neutral sites like Lucas Oil and the new Vikings Stadium. Regardless, the weather is a part of the game and shouldn't be worth wasting potential increases in national interest towards the B1G brand.

Most of yall probably already know, but Hoza has had a top 3, in order, of A&M, LSU, and texass for a while now. Just thought it would be worth updating. He will probably be one of the top 2 players out of Texas for 2014. Most likely going to be a 5 star talent. It is obviously extremely early in the process so there may be a shot for other schools to get in the race. Gotta stay after these type of guys.

i mean he was soo committed to the team he moved all the way here.. then gets told he might move and he bolts.. the two dont jive... dont know what to think but its all very strange
He also moved to College Station with his family while he was committed there. Sounds to me like it's a good thing we don't have to deal with this same crap for 4 years. Best of luck to the kid.
This is what I hinted at on this thread in August....I always thought he was an odd dude after moving to College Station from Odessa (which is like being in a different state) and then moving to Lincoln after he committed to Nebraska. It's almost funny now because nobody took what I said seriously at the time. Although I understand why people thought he was "solid" in his committment.

Man I hope K-State takes care of business and makes it to the MNC.
I'd feel like there'd finally be a team in the championship I could actually cheer for. I am too young to remember K-State when they were good, so I really can't hate them.
I too want to see them in the championship game. But not to root for them. I fully expect them to lose by more than 3 TD's against Bama or Oregon.
-
Moving inside Texas is a completely different concept then moving up 3 states north. He's not decommitting.
exactly.... i dont think we have to worry...
Hate to say I told yall so....Knew the kid was a questionable character.

So does this make Northwestern the Baylor of the B1G...you know, sans the incompetency, the tarp covering half the stadium, and a town that is actually worth visiting?
Yeah, I've always thought NW = Baylor = Vanderbilt. Great schools--maybe the best in their conference--each in a good town to visit, but generally fielding a crappy football team. Every few years though, these schools seem to turn out a pretty decent football team.
Whoa, wait. Since when is Baylor the best school in Big 12? I'm sure that Texas and Texas AM would have something to say about that. Northwestern and Vanderbilt? Yeah, those are correct.
This. Baylor is an above average academic institution. They are a private school but that doesn't put them anywhere near the same hemisphere as NW or Vandy.

I understand most of the people who post in this forum lean to the left, so I'm not calling anybody out here.
That said, who here really thinks Obama has the ability to debate with success? He has a record to run on now so he can't just toss out general statements while attacking the previous administration. He looked flustered and incapable of stating his points without a teleprompter.
