  1. It's too late in the game to expect that his mechanics will fix themselves. When the game is live, all of it goes out the window. You can't undo 14-15 years of bad habits in a year and a half.

No hard feelings for the guy. Heck of a competitor but if he's gonna switch positions, TE wouldn't be a bad place to go.

  2. Tommy didn't do the team favors but I've been saying it all year and i'll say it once more. Good coaches win, Period. We hired a turd. Nice guy, but a turd when it comes to winning games.

McElwan, Harbaugh, Chryst, Harmon, all of them excelled in their first year. Do with that whatever you want but they are getting it done. MR helped us take 3 steps backwards.

People are mad because they know Dillard is right. I watched the whole game again this morning...those kids quit on themselves. Period.

Nobody is listening to an hour-plus interview with terrible production quality. I mean, are players interviewed via cell phone while driving through the mountains? Dilliard is fine. He's one of many former players with an opinion. There are several former players with the opposite opinion, so... whatever.

First, I only listened to the 2 interviews.

Second, Name the players with different opinions. Other players aren't as vocal or a little more PC but even Warfield in nicer words blasted the effort by players and the boneheaded approach to coaching this staff has demonstrated all year.

I didn't listen to it... because of the terrible production quality. I thought I made that clear.

Off the top of my head Vrzal, Zatechka, Peter, and Benning all have expressed opinions other than "going nuclear" on the staff.

Not just the staff, the problems go all the way from top with AD hiring of a perennial loser of a coach down to the players who at times (Saturday) don't look like the wanna play football. Also Peter has said a ton of stuff about all of that and Benning as well as Foreman both have questioned the players desire at several points this season.

My father just made the decision to not renew his season tickets next year. He's had them since 2001 and always loved going to games. How many more season ticket holders are we gonna lose? At this point it might be a forgone conclusion that the sellout streak will end if no changes are made.

I've got a couple buddies who aren't renewing their season tickets. They're not going to the remaining home games either apparently. They said it's just better to watch the game on tv at home and be disappointed. Rather then to go to the game and be disappointed. Who can blame them?

That was me for the Northwestern game. Living in southern TX, can only make it to one game because of the cost. Just couldn't see spending close $1000 between travel, hotel, and decent seats to watch terrible football. Sold the tickets and watched at home.

  6. I may still watch but the university won't see another dime from me. We hired a perennial loser with a track record of mediocre to bad coaching. I have no issues getting beat by a team that is simply better (Mich St, OSU,) but I cannot and will not support bad football. Don't care what it makes me. To be down at all to a TERRIBLE 1-6 Purdue team, I don't care.

It's simple, vote with your wallet.

  7. All you need to know about national perception is that no one even bats an eye anymore when we lose games by 5 TD's, or blow 2 TD leads. It stops being breaking news when it happens multiple times every year.

As the announcers said at the end of the game. This is the new normal. Get used to it.

I hate to agree with them. I hate it. It's like getting my guts slowly pulled out.

  8. So being unfortunate enough to live in Okie Land and hearing it from OU and OSU fans, I will give you one quote and leave it at that. Bunch of OU fans upon seeing me with my Husker gear on, you know what they say?

"Whenever I'm convinced that OU is going downhill. When I need a pick me up or just a good laugh, I turn on Nebraska football."

National perception is better than local my a**. What does one say to that?

  9. As was mentioned above, pretty sure JT Barrett had the same MCL injury whether or not it was severe. I think he will be ready saturday. If he isn't I'd rather he not, but I believe he will because he is a competitor. I think our defense will come up big for us too. Gordon will get his yards but I believe we take advantage of their not so good passing attack and that'll make the difference.
