  1. cant we all just get along

lol, no kidding. I've been to away games at Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio St., and Northwestern, as well as tailgated with fans from basically every Big Ten school that has come to Lincoln over the last couple years and I've never had a problem with any of them. People are complaining that Michigan and Ohio St. fans are too arrogant? Well others say the same thing about Husker fans all the time.

  2. Have Nebraska ever played LSU before?

  3. Yep, I fear the dreaded #5 spot will be ours this week.

You're saying we suck so bad, we'll drop a spot during the bye week...

No I has talking about the ESPN Bottom 10. It's supposed to be a ranking of the 10 worst teams in college football, but it's actually just the worst 9 teams, ranked #1-4 and 6-10, and a joke team at #5. It's typically a team that while far from being one of the worst 10 teams, just suffered a humiliating loss. We've occupied that spot a few times before, it seemed like we were there every other week in 2007.

  4. Replying to ESPN Big 10 power rankings...ouch

....ouch? #4 is okay and fair IMO. I thought #5 or even #6 especially ESPN source. BTW, where's ESPN Bottom 10 rankings? I can't find it.

They haven't come out with a new one yet this week, but here's last week's.

Just click on the link in a couple of days, they should have a new one out by then.

  5. People seriously need to get over this, we tried to do the exact same thing 3 weeks ago against Arkansas St. We were up 42-13 with a minute left and instead of kneeling Bo called another running play. The only difference is we fumbled the ball and Arky St. almost ran it back. We tried to run up the score on a beaten opponent just like they did, so it's not like we're any better than they are. Heck the only real difference is when Ohio St. tried to run up the score they actually executed well enough to do it, we didn't.

Bo was not there in the second half of Arkansas St. I can guarantee with 100% certainty he did NOT call that play.

True, but I didn't say that he did. It's not on Bo that we tried to get another TD on Arky St., but the fact of the matter is that we did try to score a worthless touchdown on them with a minute left that would've done nothing but pad our stats. That makes it pretty hypocritical to complain when another team tries to do the same to us. Just my opinion.

  7. No problem with staying right where we were, pretty much. We havent done anything to justify moving up yet. Even with a win @ Ohio St, it's gonna take a substantial streak of 5-6 wins here to crack the top 15, including Michigan and Mich. St in my eyes.

Edit: Never mind I missed your correction post. I agree with that.

  8.

I realize that schedules are made in advance, but UCLA (and I think two other BCS schools whose names I cannot remember) has NEVER played a non-BCS school. If you are going to schedule two "Little Sistes of the Poor" schools then you might as well move to the SEC, where that kind of scheduling is par for the course.

You do realize that Rice is a non-BCS school right? As is Houston, the school you play this Saturday.

he must mean non FBS school im guessing, since we have Idaho State. But he did sound like a moron in that post.

Yeah I thought that might be it, but then why mention Arkansas St.? They're definitely FBS.
