  1. I hope that one or both of our incoming freshmen (Newby and Taylor) redshirt. I know we will continue to get high quality RBs in future recruiting classes due to the style of our offense, but it would help down the road IMO if we redshirt at least one of those guys, as long as they are not needed this year.

Question is which one do you think we should redshirt?

Whichever one is less game-ready. :dunno

Sorry should reword that which one do you personally think we should redshirt based on what we know about them already and assuming they are both game-ready?

  3. Height: 6'1

    Weight: 235

    Reps at 225 in College : 10

    40 in college: 5.2

Reps at 225 Today: 3 if I'm lucky

40 Yard Dash Today: 5.5 (to be honest I sprained my ankle playing pick up bball last wed so knapp might have a pretty good chance to beat me in a head to head race now)

Played college football at a d3 school and my playing weight was 245 - 250. played on the OL the first 2 yrs as a center then switched to DL when we switched base defenses.

  4. 1) Best Villian - Toss up but I would say its between The Joker (Heath Ledger), Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins is just plain creepy in that role) or William Cutting (Daniel Day-Lewis in Gangs of New York)

    2) Best Gangster Role - I'll go with Robert DeNiro as Al Capone in The Untouchables

    3) Best Sports Character - Alvin Mack (The Program)

    4) Best Character in a Western - Doc Holiday or William Munny

  5. Which match ups do you think we can win?

    Your best shots:

    133 - Nagel vs Conaway

    141 - Kelly vs Pearsall

    157 - Green vs Alton

    174 - Brown vs Kokesh

    285 - Gingrich is beatable

I believe both Alton brothers are both supposed to be in the lineup otherwise I'd add 149 to the list.

The big problem is that PSU has guys that are likely to score bonus points in most of the other weights.

    Final 33-9

    125 - Megaludis - forfeit

    133 - Conaway over Nagel - major dec 14-5

    141 - Pearson over Kelly - 2-0

149 - Sueflon over Alton - pin (5:33) - Huge win for Jake

    157 - Alton over Green - 3-1

    165 - Taylor over Koehn - Tech fall 16-1

    174 - Kokesh over Brown - 10-7

    184 - Ruth over Ihnen - tech fall 18-3

    197 - Wright over Kolb - maj dec 10-2

    285 - Gingrich over Johnson - 7-4

Thanks for the results! I was hoping green would have won his match but Sueflohn winning with the pin is huge for him going forward.
