  1. 1994 NU vs WYO. Anybody remember? 14-0 Wyo at end of 1st quarter and 21-14 halftime. Final 42-32 NU. Peters, Wistrom, etc. Just sayin'.............

That game was an anomaly though ...Berringers first game after TF clot, he had a punctured lung, Wistrom was just a true frosh (did he even play) J Peter didnt play ...last nights game was the 3rd game in row of our D getting abused ....hopefully they learn something

  2. not hearing the band is not a bad thing

The band is one of the things that makes it college football to me. If all I hear is music blaring from the speakers it feels like the NFL.

I agree just not ours...its the same thingg all the time....wish they would change things up....and that same tomohawk chop thing they play every 3 downs has GOT to go

  3. Here is what worries me...Smith said that he knew what we were gonna do based on how we lined up...he said he studied a ton of tape...tape that didnt include a bunch of these players so that puts it on the coaches of ours to disguise or adjust better than they are doing because if the offense knows what we are going to do as we are doing it no amount of new speed will be able to compensate

  4. I thought he I read where he had a chance to be their starting RB this year?

...Rex Burkhead, battling Herron for the fourth and final spot on the running back roster (assuming they keep four), added 31 yards on six carries and a 5.2 yard/rush average.

    LINK

That wasnt gonna happen, may have read it on Husker message boards ..Have to think that he has the talent to stick

  5. I am a Cowboys fan. And the Cowboys play at the Lions in week 8.

With that O-line, Romo better have his running shoes on that day or he's gonna get smashed into the Ford Field turf... OVER and OVER again.

Please Mr. Suh, don't kill my QB.

    LOL

As a Skins fan I hope Romo comes out of that game clean too...need him taking as many snaps as possible for Dallas

  6. apparently the part where I said I have a hotel room booked in Indy already was overlooked. That being said I will still follow the team daily from afar. My point was that it costs a lot to got to games and I am taking a year off after spending so much to watch us get blown out the past few years. Went to Wisconsin, CCG, UCLA, Michigan the past few years. Then again maybe its me and me staying home is the key to winning . The trust part that I am speaking of is simple...I can handle losing 28-24 in a tough grind out type of game. Its the 20+ blowout stuff where we looked overmatched in several categories and things steamroll once adversity hits...that needs to stop

  7. I see the fan police are out in effect ...nothing says I am a better fan than telling someone else how to follow the program ...this is a message board meant for people to discuss their opinions and feelings about the program...opinions are just that and because one doesnt have the exact same one as someone else they are a fake fan.....give me a break...

  8. hits it on the head for me...When I left Indy I had never felt as angry and gutted as I did that night. This team needs to earn my trust again. Traveling from California isnt cheap and I am not spending my money this year....(that being said I do have a room reserved in Indy just in case) Two quotes stick out that describe me anyway :

1_What I think they're saying is that they no longer are willing to buy into the team or the expectations. They don't want to buy into hope. They're afraid of getting hurt.

2_There was something about that 70-31 loss in the Big Ten championship game last year. It rocked the psyche of your average card-carrying Husker fan.
