We are in the hunt for all of them, but the problem has been just that. It always seems that we are in the hunt and it comes down to either Nebraska and another team and we never seem to get them.

I think one of the problems is something like reverse psychology. Huskers recruit kids, but they(the recruit) think that because we are such a run oriented team that all the running backs here are All-American. When any one from the area or follows Husker football knows that this simply is not the case. Kids because they are not knowlegable shy away because they feel they wont get playing time until their senior year.

On to another subject about knowledge of the problem results from the limitations on contact that schools can make with a recruit. Also that there is so much negative recruiting goin on out there from other programs bad mouthing each other. Something Nebraska never does.

For example, Andre Brown has NU listed third because he feels he willl get more playing time?!?!??!?

It seems we may be going back to an old formula. One in which we get all of our horses up front from the state of Nebraska. Where kids have this undeniable desire to lift and practice and push themselves to levels never thought possible by many of the nations top teams who never decided to both recruit them.

Youth, energy and new f'ing ideas are going to get a couple recruits, but I still think Nebraska doesn't recruit aggressive enough

Look at last year, as soon as a couple of the new coaches came here , Nebraska immidiately got some top recruits.

When is the last time you heard a good old fashion "tremendous" out of Frankie's mouth.

Holy sh#t he even said "hell" the other day.

Is this the real Solich, the uncontrollable, outgoing type. Or is he like one of those kids who wants to be like all the others and tries to act like everyone else. Think about it............. he is surrounded by young people. Maybe he thinks he's one of them.

He's trying to be "down" and "hip"

, what Kellen did was completly wrong. I don't give a f#*k what that kid was saying. Let him talk all he wants, you don't lay into him and throw a round house right and knock the kid out. Any of you know what that's like. Because of this incident we have bad publicity like this:

Some dumb shmuck show broadcast their damn views. This is bad for recruiting something we haven't excelled in lately.

Football players have to realize that they are amazingly stronger than most people in the entire world. This Kellen kid is a walk-on. Probably hasn't lifted quite like this in his entire life. Now he's gettin muscles and getting bigger and wants to show off. Well wrong way bud.

Now if they can show that he was clearly in jeopardy of being jumped or whatever, I don't if that a-hole was shootin his mouth off or not, unless he mad contacy with him you can't knock a kid out. I can't think of much to defend Kellen. I'm sorry
