  1. If Wilson visits Oregon, then so be it. I can pretty much guarantee he won't be the only only NU committed prospect to take an official to another school this fall. And we'll be hosting OVs from other school's commits

That's just how the game is played now. Pressuring kids to commit earlier and earlier has led to this IMO.

That's the point when they weren't sure they DECOMITTED, I don't ever remember anyone saying the things he has said while still "committed"

I could care less how many other trips he takes, i side with the "enjoy the process" group.

But if your that unsure just decommit, unless he won't because he is worried about us moving on if he does and Oregon getting another commit in the process, if that's the case just stop saying stupid stuff.

Edit: was replying to the Davis twins comment

Stanton leaving will just be futher confirmation that pelini & co. could not develop QBs. This will hopefully be where Riley really separates himself. Bo had teams that could have made a decent run - he was always a QB away IMO. No one developed, either in their career or even just as the year went on. You'd see the same stuff against Iowa as you did against McNeese.

I look at it a bit different. Stanton doesn't appear at all to confirm Bo and group couldn't develop QBs. You could list nearly every other QB recruit they got and say that, but Stanton is different. He's different because even with Riley and staff he hasn't done anything. Being in the Elite 11 and all, I'm guessing he's either dumber than a box of rocks or he has serious confidence issues. With the talent he had coming into Nebraska, one really has to wonder why the new staff isn't doing extraordinary things with Stanton unless they see him as a lost cause.

Considering his goal is to go to medical school I would say the "dumber than a box of rocks" comment is exactly that

Was curious about how much the early commits within the top 250 correlate to geographic region that the recruits are in, here is what I found for the B1G.

OSU - 4/7 are from OH

PSU - 5/6 are from PA, NY, MD

MSU - 3/4 are from OH, MI

MD - 2/2 are from MD

Mich - 0/2 are from MI, but are from IN, IL

    Huskers - 1/1 from IA

    Minn - 0/1

    Northwestern - 0/1

    Wisconsin - 0/1

And Just looking at the schools with the most Rivals Top 250,

Clemson - 3/5 from NC, SC other 2 from FL

Fl State - 6/7 from FL

    Georgia - 5/7 from GA

    LSU - 5/8 from LA

    Miami - 5/5 from FL

Miss - 3/5 from MS also GA and LA

    Stanford - 3/6 from CA

    UCLA - 6/6 from CA

    USC - 4/6 from CA

No surprise but early committals are so geographic its crazy, and with the recruiting timeline being moved up seemingly every year it definitely doesn't favor us in that aspect!!
