Normally I get pretty worked up about something like this, but he has taken two visits. TCU offered, a school that he mentioned was already talking to him, so now he is going to visit there. I chalk this up to wanting to make sure he finds the right school for him. He may find that TCU offers a lot of the same things that Nebraska can, but I guarantee you he won't find the same game experience at TCU that he found at Nebraska vs Michigan State.

 

My #1 deciding factor for Neb vs TCU would be the fact that until the Big 12 has a Championship game, they will continue to get passed by for the Final 4. I'm sure many of you will disagree with that, but it would really be a factor for me.

Really, unless TCU can blow him away with academic support the way Nebraska has, he should be a Husker imo.

This guys film is unreal. Really, I could not believe how good he looked on film.

He is the size of a safety and too slow. No loss as far as I am concerned. 4.7 is slow for someone his size. We want LBs that run 4.55 or so if they are going to be this small. Ideally, we want a 4.7 speed LB to be 6-4 and 240 and grow to 250 and play MLB. We want outside backers to run below 4.6. Speed is absolutely required. You go smaller and smaller until you get the required speed first. Then add all the weight he can carry and retain the sub 4.6 speed.

 

4.7 is good Tight end speed basically or maybe a pocket QB.

Did you watch his film? This kid is vicious.

Don't think he is coming back here with POB but wouldn't be surprised if he looked around.

 

 

He would be the "Do it all" player here and I don't see him RS. He will be the compliment in Riley's offense that will put defenses on their toes. Look for him on sweeps and in the slot. Also don't be surprised to see him get 5-10 carries a game. He's an obvious PR/KR but I think you leave the PR to Demornay if he comes back fully healthy. I do think he will be the answer to Nebraska's screen game woes as long as the accuracy and blocking is there.

Coaches at least don't consider him a commit right now. That's why they said 13 commits not 14 in the article that came out yesterday. That's at least my thought.

 

 

This is about Xavier Gaines. Is this an insurance policy if Wilson switches? Is it a signal to him to either commit fully or we are going to go after other QBs?

Discussion things with his mom this evening after tours and meeting the coaches today.

I feel that if he doesn't visit Bama that probably means he is leaning Miami. Just my two-cents.

Also, in his HUDL tape, their O-Line was creating ENORMOUS holes (pretty impressive). Stevenson was still making people miss in the second level, but I just thought I would give them a shout out!
