  1. PG - Biggs, Webster, Parker

SG - Shields, Gallegos, Hawkins, Peltz

SF - Petteway, Rivers, Fuller, Tyrance

    PF - Pitchford, Smith

    C - Vucetic, Kurkowski

My guess is we won't start a center and start 3 wings (Webster, Gallegos, or Rivers). I've heard our best players on the team last year were the ones who sat out.

Sorry I'm new to this board -- I wanted to post my guess for next season's depth chart even though it looks like everyone else did it months ago. Next year it looks like we will have quite a bit more depth, athleticism, and scoring with less height and who knows on defense. Should be fun to watch in a sold out new arena

  2. ugly with two shades of brown - especially with "the paint" sans paint. The outline in the center looks good, but inside the three point line a darker color and inside the paint the light color is just bad. How are they going to do it with the women's three point line? It doesn't show it on the huskers.com page.

Maybe just switch the colors inside the 3 pt line and inside the key and it would be better.

  3. Nee did recruit Dapries Owens who was highly touted. Jaron Boone while he had some ties to Nebraska was a Utah kid that was highly recruited. Lue was from Kansas and was not highly recruited. Beau Reed and Lewis Jeter were Ohio players and fine players. I don't think they had a lot of recruiting pressure. Chandler was a Juco. Friend(sp?), Hamilton etc were 3 star type players.

Nee&staff had some talent and knew talent IMO. I think Jimmie Williams played a big part in that recruiting and was the ace recruiter. Nee certainly worked hard to the very letter of the rules. (Like when he recruited Richardson?. They weren't allowed on campus so they were right across the street from campus boundaries, and when the bell went ding they were there to get his LOI. That was an ol' Jack Pierce trick.)

Dapries Owens..........wow...........what a blast from the past! He had a body structured like Ohio St's Sullinger.

Good recap of Nee's efforts. Don't forget Mikki Moore from North or South Carolina.

Ooooh, really good one. He's definitely deserves mention. I am sure there are others that should be mentioned but that's definitely one that fits Huskball's point.

I dont have one problem with getting guys who can put the ball in the basket. Add depth and skill.. worry about size later.

Flat water - Don't forget Steffon Bradford and Bernard Garner - both of whom had a Juco coach compare them to a young Charles Barkley. Those might have been collier though. Always take recruiting with a grain of salt - don't get excited until you see them in a Husker jersey.

Minnesota - great point. We need an influx of talent. Also, size.

  4. No interest at all. He is more of a wing type player.. can shoot but we dont need that.

This is crazy. This kid can play basketball. We can use a guard with size and some athleticism. Looks like a Mike Dunleavy / Chandler Parsons / Gordon Hayward type. "Can shoot but we don't need that' ---->> Are you kidding me? Did you watch any of our games last year? Ray Gallegos was our "Best Shooter" and he shot about 30.6% 3pt and 36.1% FG -- that is not good shooting especially considering the volume. We need kids who can shoot first and foremost. We need size too. This guy would be a great addition - we would be lucky to get him. Hope he likes his visit.

There is no point in saving a scholarship. It would be better to take too many guys and have to have someone transfer. That happens all the time when new coaches come to town. Or we could rely on walkons for depth that could work too.
