  1. With all due to respect to Taylor and the many achievements attained during his time at Nebraska, it would suffice to say no, he is not going to get drafted. Guys in the NFL get fired for less riskier picks, its cutthroat but its the NFL. It would be awesome if he did get drafted in the 6th or 7th round and I wish him good luck on the next level.

Like others have said, if Al Davis was still alive and off his rocker then yes Taylor would definitely have a home in Oakland. He will get picked up somewhere, it just depends what position he is willing to play.

I can see a team that runs gadget plays, like the Steelers, pick up Taylor if they can use him in a jet sweep pass/run formation, similar to Randle El.

  2. I think that is the main problem with fans on this site. All and I mean all is the wins and losses. In honesty that is not what this is about, or at least to me. Sure no one wants to lose, but how you play the game is by far the most important aspect for me.

As I see it, another great feather in his cap. He has done so much for the academic side, steadfast, determined is what he has instilled in these kids in the class room. I must say I am truly amazed by his work. I have become more of a supporter of Bo because of how he develops the kids into responsible young men. Could we be better in football, would it make even happier, of course, but this is the toughest part of the job for 99% of coaches. He has it in spades.

I can deal with Bo is an Ahole, when I can throw those, the most important results back in their face.

Play the game right, win what we can, a little better side line appeal, and he can stay forever.

Don't get Bo Pelini confused with people who actually develop students in the class room. What is Bo a f'ing tutor now? The Bo Pelini known in the state of Nebraska goes like this,"A 9-4 asshat who berates the media, who berates his own fanbase, a man who cannot wait to leave Nebraska, then turns around and expects...wait...feels entitled to love from media and fans.".

I don't care how the rest of the board feels about Bo, but brothers, expect another 9-4, at best, 10-3 season, against a soft schedule. Perhaps I have set my expectations too high for Nebraska Football.

  3. Hey, guess what? You flash your donger to a store employee >1 you will have a hard time being employed anywhere. Tough lesson kid. Keep the snake in the garden.

Zero sympathies right here. I mean, who has not had the temptation to flash that hot chick your wanger in a public setting, then get away scott free?

    Am I right?...........

  4. It would be a great game to go to. Im guessing the crowd will be close to 50% Husker fans

Looking back at the "Invasion of South Bend" my guess is that the game will be 80% Husker fans since Miami only has fair-weather Heat fans. Seriously, I am already planning a vacation to Miami for that game. September 19, 2015 will be another Husker home game mark my words.

  5. How awesome would it be to have a permanent non-conference game with Oklahoma? The yearly, or bi-annual, game vs Oklahoma is the only thing I miss about the Big XII and Big 8. Facing OU every year would help out immensely with the new playoff format in CFB IMO. Having a 10 win season would be impressive if the schedule had games against Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Penn State. I was looking at this years home schedule and got a little sad.

  6. The first two home games are against:

    (1) Florida Atlantic - Uncle Carl is gone along with the Pelini bro's angle

    (2) McNeese State - Another FCS cannon fodder opponent

Don't count on the student section to be full when duds such as those are scheduled. With Okie St. vs Florida St., LSU vs Wisky, and Clemson vs Georgia in week one, why drop money on a blowout when you have such better entertainment, that is more convienient, viewable from a house/party/bar?

If the temps climb in to the +90oF range I begin to ask myself; Do I even want to go to the game? Bet your ass I am tailgating.

  7. Who ever pointed out that Sam Keller "tore up" LSU, remember that Hurricane Katrina just hit. Players were essentially refugees, no wonder he had a good game, LSU had way more to deal with IRL than a game against ASU. Also, remember Sam Keller is the guy who threw a cup at another student who took is parking spot and then was cited for disturbing the peace. Landlord aka Sam Keller, did you forget you got cited for that incident?

  8. Toniu Fonoti

In 2001 he recorded a historical 201 pancake blocks in a season along with a single game best 32 pancake blocks vs Texas Tech. The O-Line in 2001 was dominant...my eyes get watery remembering those days.

He was an All-American and a first round pick, I'm not sure he was "under appreciated".

    imo.

Acutally [i'm closing my eyes while saying this to show my smuggness] he was a second round pick.

  9. My issues with Sam Keller:

    *snip*

But son of a beach.......what am I going to wate $60 on this summer???? Not NCAA 2015 thats for damn sure! Thanks alot Sam Keller!

Let's also be honest about the likely reality that he has virtually nothing to do with the lawsuit other than being a name to attach it to. A bunch of lawyers came up with a way to get paid and needed a public figurehead, which they found in Sam, who likely got a good deal of money out of it himself. Hard to fault a guy for that.

I'll bet you any amount of money it wasn't his idea, nor was he actively working towards this end. He was just a name that a money-hungry group found and paid to be the face of their suit.

    Are you Sam Keller?

  10. Ball State.........what an omen that game was

Ball State ended up being a 7-6 MAC team Nebraska lucked out against. If history revisionists want to proclaim Sam Keller as an offensive threat they must be delusional, go check the records. Highest offensive outputs with Keller: a hapless Nevada scoring 51 points; Ball State 41 points; Iowa State 35 points. The last three games Nebraska scored 163 points. Don't even include those trash stats from the USC game.

  11. I would get rid of the brief Sam Keller history. If he never transfered here and they acutaly gave Ganz a fair shake at the starting QB spot, the '07 season could have been so much better. He had so much hype but failed to show, plus he really made the team about SAM KELLER, totaly glory boy.

I literally don't think I could disagree with this post any more.

You are the only guy I have ever heard that thinks Sam Keller was deserving of the start over Ganz. Account for this Mr., after Keller went down vs. Texas in 07 the team mounted a comeback and almost won the game with Ganz at the helms. The team showed heart after Ganz stepped in, albeit in losses, the offense was pretty anemic with Keller at QB. So much wrong with the '07 team and I think the two gaping holes were QB play and atrocious defesne.
