Looks like he'll fit in nicely with Ohio state wr coach
Gonna have a tough time catching anything w/ Lamar and bookie draped on him...

Yes please. Wonder how this plays out for someone like Weber.
True, but he's also our best LB in pass coverage. I'd actually move him to the middle w/ Roberts, and use Alex Davis as a OLB in passing situations
Newby could become a huge beneficiary from his new system. He started out as a pass rushing specialist.
Roberts, Newby, Young, Ferguson.Anyone wanna take a gander at who our four LBs will be?
Even better for mo barry, lots of talent about to get a huge opportunity!

If he's a consolation prize to Lewis, I'll take this kid all day long! Solid route runner and extremely EXPLOSIVE!

Silly season it is

Doesn't look all that excited...

Kid is the truth, tore up the north defense which had been solid all year in the state final.

I know we got owned on oline. Health and continuity contribute to that. Give it to Tennessee, they had more talent. Losing out on kabongo last year hurt as we saw him help tear through our line. Offensively, their speed was appearent. Our dbs held for a while, but the lack of pass rush hurts bad. D line is solid but lacks explosive outside pass rusher. Linebackers were way too slow to react. These heart was there, the burst wasn't. I expect a whole new crew next year. One with speed and explosive capabilities. Speed to drop far enough in zone and close when the play is in front of them. Explosive enough to knock a guy back on 3rd and 1.
All of this said, we put up points, in a home game for them, missing easily our 3 most explosive playmakers. Can't complain to much for year two of an attitude, staff, and scheme transition. There are holes, but the effort to fill those gaps is there. Interested to see how this plays out. The next 3 years will be very telling.

I hear ya! Nice prospect
Well, good sir, I do apologize for my lack of concern with grammar. I'm texting on my cell phone and with the informality that message boards are, I don't see the need for such formalities. I do, however, see an issue with people griping over every single move that this staff makes.
Not with your lack of grammar, no.Are you people never happy.

If that's your logic nvrm.
18 year olds are very unpredictable, so I would say yes disregard the"professional" opinion. On top of that NONE of them are 100%
So you suggest we disregard predictions of paid professionals in the industry and follow the predictions/thoughts of ..... ?I'm optimistic. In thinking about it, you take out all the crystal ball nonsense and there is no reason to be panicked. The staff learned from last year with fitz and don't seem very panicked so I'll follow their lead.
All you have to do is look at all the kids that flip on a yearly basis. Circumstances change minds on a daily basis...

He was so high on Nebraska for a while and then just shut down.it would be interesting to hear the reason behind it.
Because he silently committed 😉

Haha yup. Wish he chose NU and nothing against the kid personally, but I just want to beat him!
Wasn't butt hurt to say it out loud but I was certainly thinking it 😂😂😂Hope he plays a true frosh and we watch Stan burn him for 6 haha
If we can't beat them off the field, we NEED to continue to beat them on it. While I would have liked to win this battle, if we can land Lenoir, I would be ecstatic for that trade

I just don't get the appeal of Oregon. Never have, never will

Would be a huge get, kid is a baller!

Most of those backups have a higher completion % than our starter 😂

Will there be Juan more Ignont thread?

I learned that there are a lot of things that this team can't do...but they are PERFECT at the most important thing to this point, winning. Accept that and move on, it's very difficult to win football games. Ask the other 119 teams that have lost...

The bigger talent disparity (by far) is not between the receivers he'll be throwing to but the DBs covering those receivers.
But it's still pretty impressive.
He is also practicing against those highly touted dbs as well...

Interesting that Lenoir's Twitter pic is of him sleeping under a pile of Blackshirts mail

Hopefully we see one of his "flips" before signing day...

Someone commented about only wanting one of his teammates for a couple of the heavy hitters for the school and they took exception saying "that's why none of us going to tour school" , wouldn't be surprised to see him cancel...
