I like newby, but in reality it's fair game. The new coaches haven't really seen any of them close up and we have an idea of what style of offense hcmr runs, but not for sure. He build his offense with what players he has around him.

Happy from day 1. A new chapter in a very long book of history and tradition. I will always support the university, players and coaches. Excited to see where this staff takes us.

I remember listening to the games on the radio outside and playing football with my brothers and pretending we were certain husker players. My 1st game was okie at home, seeing the boz. We lost, but man that was fun. For me it was every sat, no matter where I was at, I had to wear red and proudly cheer on the big red.

It is a rite of passage to pass that kind of passion to my kids...and I have. Players, coaches come and go..but the N will always be there.

This guy is a red zone threat. I like it. He doesn't have to run a fast 40 to go up and get a ball. You run good routes, get good separation from the db, 40 takes a back seat. 40 time is great, but its not the end all be all. What's great about this........we have good relations with Edna Carr. Who produces d1 talent. So we went down south and got some talent. Love it.

With these names being thrown around, it wouldn't suprise me if Cassidy gets promoted. Cuz, that's how our luck rolls sometimes.
