We have to start winning big time games against other top programs in a mjor way before we can get kids like this on our team.

 

I'm all for us winning more big time games, but we're currently sitting well with another 4star RB with our program as is....

And that's great I love it but, I'm speaking for other positions when I say that. We're going to get great back no matter what look at who came from here.

And two top 20 backs in the same year last year....

You realize that Ballage is deadset on playing RB in college right?

I think we can pull this one out because of Penn St. head coach and d-line coach leaving we're in a good space.

With a player of his calibur we need to start using all these athletes in more ways then one. Turner, T. Newby, Pierson-EL, Stewart, Westerkamp, Bell, Gerry. Sometimes I just want to see more flare and players used well and right. beck ran a double option against Michigan one time and even had Burkeahd throw to Martinez and get under center.

He's going to be Suh on the O-Line somebody feelings will get hurt.

Marcus newby will be a star if he can get the play book down. He would be a olb. But he plays a lot like lavonte

 

Yes Newby will be a star. Ankrah compared him to Lavonte and he apparently has a high football iq. Would not be surprised to see him play alot next year.

Courtney Love is one to watch as well.

I'm really loving the linebackers that are here and coming for the future. I think Rose will really have an inpact more nexxt season, Santos needs to work on being in coverage and I think Newby takes time away from Anderson.

If he plays in the third highest division in the state has won the MVP award and really doesn't have an offer list to knock your socks off.......am i missing something here?

Looks like he just might be coming this way and maybe him and Taylor will be nice together to slow up the defenses and then switch with Newby in the fututre.

With Jones' commitment, staff will not take another DB. Hallmon has since canceled his trip. Getting to the end here got to make room for more DE, OT, WR, and RB.

Even with Jones adding to this line of of what we have we're at 19 now and if we do get other positons that you say we'll be at 24 so why not one more?

• Clinkscales lied to Nebraska coaches about grades received in two classes last semester. It turns out he'd actually failed both of them.
  
• Clinkscales still needs over 30 hours between now and August to be able to qualify academically. To put that in perspective, you'd need over 60 hours to get an associate degree.
  
• In those 30+ hours, he needs to pass two Algebra classes.
  
• Clinkscales did not inform Nebraska coaches prior to announcing his decommitment via Twitter.
  

So yea, there's a reason Nebraska coaches stopped "showing him the love." Clinkscales was dishonest with the Nebraska coaching staff, and the academic hill he still needs to climb looks like Mt. Everest at this point. Just letting the Kansas State fans know this know, so you're not disappointed and caught off guard this fall.

TL;DR Clinkscales lied about qualifying for the 2014 fall semester, so Nebraska stopped recruiting him.
