The Huskers have two scholarship kickers and a punter on their roster. And this weekend, they're hosting one of the top junior college kickers in the nation for an unofficial visit.

 

Jamie Sutcliffe, a junior college kicker and punter from Pierce College in Los Angeles, will be in Lincoln this weekend. He's been offered a preferred walk-on spot at Nebraska, according to Huskers Illustrated, and could join the team for 2015.

It's a lot easier to put on a lot of muscle if you are doing nothing but working out for 2 months.

Armstrong will be the starter he has too much experience and the drive to be successful, if Ameer says he is a leader he will continue that no matter the coach and learn like great QBs do. I am a Nebraska fan living in Loganville and can say Grayson is a powerhouse. This kid has great instincts and attacks the ball. Grayson previously produced Robert Nkemdiche the #1 player of 2013.

We are nebraska and we have made Oregon State's Defensive Coordinator our own, the definition of mediocrity. Cannot wait for big ten play in November next year!

If our longest and most faithful commit wants to take new visits due to the new defensive coordinator this seriously worries me

Initially shocked and upset about this hire but reading more into Mike Riley and watching his segment off college gameday from a few years ago, Mike Riley is exactly what we needed and every Nebraska fan should embrace him because we are the greatest fans in college football and we need to continue to back that up! Just watching the replay observing 7:17 1st quarter when Randy missed a tackle looks like he dinged up his knee after that taps his helmet few times on the drive.

Im just confused as to why there has been no talk to the absolute horrendous ability to return punts last year and what the coaches have done in the off season to help correct it. We couldnt block a single man last year and there has been no talk about what coaches have done to help improve that. Yeah we have brought in players that have the ability to break long punt returns but they will not be able to do that if no one can block anyone.

any update on this kid? seems to me this is gunna run a lot longer than we thought and the chances are slim to none now.
