We should form a class action suit of 85,000 people to sue Bill Callahan for damages. Cost of season tickets, travel, lodging, etc. I've cared enough to plan to go support the boys, shouldn't he care enough to get off his a** and get the team motivated, with a scheme they can execute? If he doesn't care, then he should be held liable.

Don't laugh - this coach got game. If someone can show me a more remarkable turnaround in college football, let's see it.

I know it's D2, but this guy has the touch.

If he was flown into Lincoln, I have a few questions/concerns. Why in the middle of maybe a NC run at LSU would he come to Lincoln in the middle of the week? With all the technology that we have now, why wouldn't they simply talk to him if that's what they're doing through some sort of webcam or conference call at Baton Rouge?

Top 3 reasons why he flew into Lincoln:

1. Web Cam broke.

2. Telephone broke.

3. Wife was pissed and he had to get out of the house.

I would be interested in hearing when the "tide of hope" turned south for everyone. For me, honestly, it was in 2004 at the "ABOMINATION IN LUBBOCK".

First season of new offense, incorrect skill players, blah blah blah. There was NO REASON for that beat down and I watched those Nebraska players LAY DOWN for that coach right there in front of my eyes, against a very MEDIOCRE team. I told my wife on the way home from that nightmare "This deal isn't going to have a happy ending."

And I'm still pissed about that debacle. Always will be. Cally should be ashamed.

I can't confirm that Billy C will be coaching in Austin this week, but me thinks so.

I can't confirm this, but I heard that this entire staff of clowns, save Watson, is leaving NU to start a traveling circus.

I've heard from a few people that T.O. doesn't like Bo's hot dog attitude, especially as a head coach. A DC can have that intensity but it's over the top as a HC

I think we could use a little hot dog attitude at this juncture. Nonetheless, I have confidence that Dr. Tom can put aside his personality preferences for the good of the program.

There are a number of members of the Touchdown Club that wouldn't even notice $4 million missing from their checking account. Hard for us working stiffs to comprehend, but buy-outs such as this are chump change for the big money.

Won't happen. With the talent on this team, an average coach will beat .500 the very first year, and probably by a substantial margin. Oh, if only Callahan was at least an average coach.

I agree, Pud needed to go but Cally has potential, he just needs to step it up.

I, too, think things could work out with this staff, if you promote them all to graduate assistants.

I know his players would run through walls for him. That tells me that he can relate to the athletes--that's a huge part of recruiting. At least according to John Blake. He can learn, and if he finds assistants that can recruit as well, he'd be just fine.
