  1. That's quality right there. I know it is not how it happened, but the screen capture makes it look like TA went almost horizontal matrix style and the proceeded to uncork a lazer up the sideline to the defenseive player, whose foot is just entering the frame in the upper left.

  2. Alabama favored by 9 1/2 over Ohio State.

Baylor favored by 3 over Michigan State.

Missouri favored by 6 over Minnesota.

Tennessee favored by 3 1/2 over Iowa.

Stanford favored by 14 over Maryland.

Boston College favored by 3 over Penn State.

Auburn favored by 6 1/2 over Wisconsin.

North Carolina favored by 4 over Rutgers.

Louisiana Tech favored by 3 over Illinois

I think we win 5, huskers I'll pick closer to the game

Forgot the others....was focused primarily on Bama v. tOSU

    • If Baylor comes out angry and focused....might be a long, long day for Sparty. I like Baylor in that one.
    • Minnesota over Missery
    • Iowa over Tenn
    • I think Standford will crush Maryland
    • Not sure about PSU and BC. That game strikes me as being akin to the Masters...I can put it on....drop the volume low and take a stupidly awesome nap.
    • I think Auburn will crush Wiskey
    • North Carolina
    • La Tech
  3. I think all hands will get a shot at earning the starting spot, including TA.

I think Riley will make it work with what he has next year. As far as the long term is concerned, its not that inconceivable that we start seeing recruits at the QB position that are less of the "multiple"/raw talent athlete type that can run a variant of the option and then pass and more of a 6'4"/6'5" type of pocket QB that is a good athlete (e.g., can move laterally to buy time in the pocket) and a far more polished passer and reader of defenses.

  4. Defense and special teams look solid. They keep improving each week.

Tommy and a few other offensive players have taken up residence in their own heads. They look totally overwhelmed with simple stuff. Going 100mph trying to make big plays and the result is compounding errors in the form of baffling turnovers or ugly 3-and-out possessions.

Beck continues to think and scheme himself out of success.

I hope Ameer is a quick healer.

Glad the Skers are 8-1. Better lucky/ugly than good sometimes.
