Kunalic kicks it OB and Texas has about 30 yards to go for a fg attempt. Made it. 12-10 final. Texas goes to NCgame. We go to the Holiday Bowl instead of a BCS bowl.

I think if Kunalic doesn't kick it OB, we have a different situation right now.

We probably wouldn't be consistent NC game participants, but we would be way more consistent in big games and a lot more relevant.

I'm a wait and see guy, but once the Michigan job opened and they said they weren't going with a "Michigan Guy" for say, and Florida hired McElwain, I personally think SE got happy feet and didn't let the process play out. He got a safe pick that is well respected in the coaching world. It's SE's a$$ on the line.

I hope Riley does well and brings us over the "hump" but I'd hate to see what people say after a 6-6 or 7-5 record, a 3 TD loss, or a multiple game losing streak. This board will BO up. Oops, Blow up.

With Marcus Newby, I liked when he played that 3-4 type DE when Gregory was out. I like the Love-Rose-Newby combo. Athletism FINALLY. I like Santos, but he is slow to read the run pass. Can't cover the TE very well IMO.

The WRs & RBs should help Riley move in. Pearson-El, Westerkamp, Cross and Taylor should all do the heavy lifting of boxes. Our line should help too, but they'll start too early and get a yellow wash cloth thrown at them.

Oregon has hung 50 on pretty much everyone except Arizona and Michigan State(46). Except for maybe 3 or 4 defenses in the PAC12 is weak. They play a bend but don't break on steroids defense. Get us the ball back as soon as you can. TRY to give up 3.

The last few years he would be nuts not to pass the ball first with Matt Moore and Sean Mannion. Both NFL QBs. I think he is smart enough to do what his team gives him. Run when it's your strength, pass when needed.
