I haven't read this entire thread because I think it's stupid and unnecessary.

 

The thing that I've realized from all of these haters is that they're all "30+ year fans," "done their research," or "have been thinking." What they fail to mention is credibility. There is none. We don't know how riley or his staff will do but that's the fun of the new season or coaching. You have an opinion? Fine. Just realize no one respects it for more than cannon fodder so just stop or go start a thread of haters.

Although I do not agree with everything that everyone writes, isn't that the fun and point of a discussion forum? As soon as it becomes everyone agreeing on each point it will cease to be interesting.

47 years old, Nebraska born and raised. Attended UNL. Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a coach in my family. Began to question Bo a few years ago.

I was in the minority at the time and was until 2012 when I began hearing others express doubts. The staunchest supporters bailed after Wisconsin this year based on my anecdotal research. Of course, small town Nebraska being what it is, after that game it was all you heard discussed any where you went.

I hadn't heard a single voice of dissent on the firing until yesterday. I had a customer ask me what I thought and during the discussion he mentioned he was against the firing........because we would be paying for Bo after he was gone. Not because he won 9 games, or was unfairly treated. Just because of the money.

Of course this is farm country here, the thoughts may be totally different once you get into the "cities"

It will be nice to leave the state and not have to fend off questions about Bo to everyone who notices your licence plate anymore.

It was when we had Cross in the game. I couldn't figure out why in the hell they pulled him and put Abdullah back in when Cross was getting like 5 Plus yards per carry. And, no I don't think Cross is better when they are healthy but that was stupid and it was obvious that Ameer couldn't handle it.

So during the game two things away from the game happened and I hope someone else may have seen these events. If it has been mentioned, I ain't digging through all this to find any other mentions. Hope to get quick replies here.

 

First, in the third quarter during a break on the big screen during crowd shots, a fan held up a sign. Once they realized they were in the screen they tore what was their original sign off to reveal a sign that had three words. I saw the last two and they were THAT pu&&y. A guy behind me only saw the first which was of course the f bomb. It was taken off the screens second upon realizing what the new sign said. Please say someone elsesaw this, and saw what the first sign said.

 

Secondly at the end of the game, a Minny fan ran onto the field on the west side of the stadium. He was looking like he wanted to fight someone. Two security guys had all they could handle trying to get this blowhole of the field. Eventually they called for a State Trooper. He then called a second trooper over. After trooper number two about ate sh#t trying to hop the fence on the sideline, he cross checked a girl whom I'd suppose was trying to calm down genius Gopher fan, and then slammed said smart Gopher fan into the stands and cuffed him. Quite entertaining for us in the north stadium.

 

Someone please say they saw either of these.

Didn't see the kerfuffel but I thought the sign said F*%# her right in the pu$$y. I was impressed with the patience of the "artist".

According to my kids the phrase is a Utube sensation of sorts. It was new to me, now I feel slightly in the "now".
