IMO, they're already getting paid. Education, food, rooms, etc are a form of payment. I would have given my left nut for the experience alone. If these student athletes become junior pros, it takes away from the game. There will be layers of players, some who get money deals, but most will not. That will cause animosity between teammates, not camaraderie. This would be the end of college athletics as we know it. I'm not surprised California was the first to do this.

I actually think we can win.
I watched the first 5 minutes of Ohio State v Miami yesterday and Miami was up 5-0! I stopped watching after that. Did anything else happen?

#1. Change the culture back to Nebraska values. This includes turning boys into good men. Coaches should be mentors. I want to be proud of our program off the field, too.
#2. Make improvements in play. Win when we should. Lose with grace, at least be competitive.
#3. Bowl game would be nice.
#4. Make Nebraska respected in college football again.
#5. Within 3-4 years, we should be back in the thick of it for conference championships, national playoffs. At least be close.

I'm watching UCF game. Turnover leads to TD for Knights!

Well, I wouldn't trade Scott Frost, that's for sure!
Time will prove SF is an excellent coach. I'm enjoying watching him rebuild our team.
