One of the recruiting services named Frost one of the best recruiters in the country when Frost was an assistant at Oregon. I’m sure he knows how important recruiting is to the life blood of a football program.

Frost will evaluate in-state talent that we’ve let get away. Bazata and Ott needed Nebraska offers. I can’t recall Bazata, but I remember Ott playing in high school and he was a freak.

Nebraska’s rushing offense ranks 113th in the nation.  I don’t know what the hell “Cav” is doing.

Our leading rusher has 499 yards this season!

The offensive line has been the biggest disappointment of the entire deal with Riley.

This. I about died when the Mikes and BC on their podcast mentioned Bryant had the 2nd most yards still. He played 2 games! Just watch Frost’s run offense and you’ll be way happier than this garbage.

  3. Yeah I’ve noticed ever since Riley was hired our run game has been horrible. (Doesn’t help we lost Abdullah) The lack of long run plays has been ridiculous. Most were made my Tommy Armstrong or a blown assignment nothing that we have done. It’s sad when a 10 yard run is considered a long run. I’d love to look at our long run from each game and see if we have 3 above 25 yards this year.

I don't hold it against Osborne for retiring from coaching when he did.  Yes, it would have been great to have him stick around another 5-10 years, but he wanted to try doing other things while he was still relatively young.  It's unfortunate that NU wasn't able to continue the dominance (or even something close to that) with all the coaches and AD's that have been around since then, but I'm not going to be "upset" with TO.

I’m upset with him. He never gave me the opportunity to witness a Nebraska National Championship. Just kidding TO is one of the nicest guys out there and I’m really thankful I got to meet him. Husker football wouldn’t be half of what it is today without him.

  5. I will show my disinterest if the team looks like they flat out aren’t trying or if playcalling is just horrible. Also, the game Saturday students had fall break. I wasn’t going to stay until the end watching a beat down when I could end up getting home before midnight instead of 2 or later. First game I’ve ever left early, and probably the most disappointing game I’ve ever been too and it’s up their with the most disappointing I’ve ever seen. (Home games laying an egg like that feels so bad)

You have to realize that Nebraska doesn't get a lot of kids who are offered from big time schools. VA has over 50 in-state kids who are at least a 2* for 18', Nebraska has 5!! Can't even comment on GA, their 50th rated player is probably better than our best kid out of HS.

No we have Jurgens this year even Masry might be higher.

I noted the lack of fire in the Tunnel Walk.  I don't think guys are that non-emotional going to practice.

No emotion.  No attitude.  No fire.

I do believe the culture has been changed.

    HOL

Glad I wasn’t the only one holy cow did they not look jacked. Nobody shows any emotion on the team.

Everyone. That’s the easiest answer since we’re outrecruiting the rest of the division, and yet still repeatedly losing to them.

Or they just are busts? I forgot rankings meant EVERYTHING.

And, and for the the "where's the Suh on this team" argument?

This was Suh in 2007, with bad coaching:

This was suh in 2009 with good coaching:

    I rest my case.

So his freshman sophomore year compared to when he was an upper class man? Great argument because players are always their best when they are a underclassman.

  10. So I guess we have some guys like Abdullah, Suh, David, and others on this team. I call BS. We don’t have one player on this team worthy of being drafted inside round 6. How many of our players start at Clemson, Ohio State, Alabama? I’d hope maybe 1.

  11. I’m going to say this, my opinion is Nebraska lacks talent. Their best player last season couldn’t make an NFL practice squad. Who on this team is an elite difference maker that you can rely on? We have no one. Look at years past we had Abdullah, David, Amukamara, Dennard, Compton, Helu, Suh, heck even Martinez. This team lacks talent so much. Maybe our young guys might be a great player, but right now I think we are far from coaching. (Even though I think this staff isn’t great by any means) could Coach Bo win with these players?

Lastly, is Nebraska getting worse, or is the rest of the conference just getting better? Or both? I think the conference is definitely getting better.

  12. 100% Texas. Imagine winning the 2008 Big 12 championship. Texas was arguably the best team in the nation (Colt McCoy got hurt right away in the national title and they weren’t the same) and we probably would’ve won our BCS bowl. We probably even win a championship in 2009 then and possibly in 2011 as well. Instead we haven’t won a conference since 1999.

    Sleeper: Brenden Jaimes

Honestly I don’t think I’d change mine much at this point.  Maybe reorder it a little bit. I guess idk if Jaimes is a sleeper or not now, I didn’t think he was highly rated. I think my top 6 will all be pretty solid. Gebbia is the gem though, he can make this class special.
